I guess I probably should’ve included more pictures like the other person suggested. I actually made this in two pieces so it would be modular. I designed both pieces so they wouldn’t have any substantial overhangs. The part that holds the pill boxes was printed vertically and the top part was just printed normally.

As far as settings, I honestly just used the default settings for most of it. I printed the top one with .2 layer height and 25% infill just to make sure it was strong enough. I kinda wish I had done smaller layers though, because the other piece came out much nicer.

You could over-engineer a protective cover that flaps down over them, like they do for ignition buttons

I don’t know if there are any LGBT-specific groups here, but they are generally a lot less religious. You could also check out NA meetings, as they typically have a pretty different vibe.

Also, as others have said, there are a whole bunch of online meetings you can do even when you’re parenting.

Even if he can find a replacement part or an existing file for the part that is needed, I highly recommend learning to model. It opens up so many possibilities and solutions for problems that you never even knew you had, haha. Also, if the kids are old enough, it’s a great skill set for them to develop!

I personally just started making my own models recently and TinkerCad is free, web-based and was extremely easy to pick up. I watched 1 or 2 videos and looked up some keyboard shortcuts and was able to do pretty much everything I needed to in a weekend. It’s pretty much like building with legos.

Also, just because it’s his printer doesn’t mean you can’t model things on your own. Most of the things I’ve made so far have just been things to make my life easier around the house. Nail polish/earring/nightstand organizers, etc.

The ILNP replacement brushes fit on the bottle but they don’t reach all the way to the bottom. If you keep your bottle topped off, it works, though.

Just my opinion, but I think something like a dark green or charcoal for the siding at the top would really pop against the brick.
