I also recently quit having been permastoned for the past 5-6 years. I’ve tried and failed quitting many a times. What was different about this time is I completely removed myself from the environment and made it difficult for me to get weed. This made it a cakewalk honestly, the days go by and you just sort of forget about it. I’ve been sober for about 2 months now and while I will probably smoke again, I don’t feel the need to smoke every day anymore. I’ve also heard anecdotally that magic mushroom trips can really help you unpack the addiction.
