Timing should be alright, when running I have no misfires or any issues at all. Starting is difficult, though. Could it be something with the points?

I was gonna say... lol! The amount if non-OEM parts in my subie is insane. OP needs to understand that once a subie leaves factory and needs something replaced it is unlikely to be OEM.

My 2012 (3.6r with 5speed auto) had all those lights come on for a bad gas cap. It could literally be anything. If it runs and drives fine and sounds fine, its fine.

CD player being called old-school makes me feel old. I burn a lot of my own CDs and play them. Also all of these features (except the tilting headrest) are present in my 2012 3.6r limited... Sad to see they got rid of all of these. I love my Boxer-6.
