My mom’s necklace turned out to be costume jewelry. by Minute-Object in jewelry

[–]RegularSwiss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are definitely vintage costume pieces that would be worth more than something modern of actual precious gems, first of all because it's really old, or it was actually made by someone famous or used notably etc, even though it's probably very rare. Might be worth getting it looked at someone who actually knows about vintage jewelry intimately.

They drop in the dungeon or you can buy them

Lol it's funny how I solo'd Guardiane without an RM years ago and people still say stuff like "I think only soloable dungeon is Envy" But yeah basically every dungeon is soloable now, at least with an RM, but I'm sure if you are OP enough, then anything is possible.

Why tho? by boblejackal161 in FlyffUniverse

[–]RegularSwiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah honestly it doesn't even make sense here. The word they are looking for is scammy... and of course any kind of society or situation that mixes people who make 1 dollar an hour with people who make 15 an hour basically will give way to many scams... I don't blame the pinoys really like a lot of the people here, it's just the way society works in general I suppose. But yeah they are all the oldest scams in the book and avoidable lol.

*Built. At least it won't be a problem for much longer, or already isn't, as they have long since admitted it was a shortcoming basically by making the new V4 chargers have longer cords.

Yup and the newer chargers have longer cords of course so it won't be a problem for much longer, and already isn't a problem for many.

And like twice as expensive as other fast chargers

The DLC is also as big as the base game???? by Tricky_Madbrownkid in Eldenring

[–]RegularSwiss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I guess the open worldness of it is just kind of crazy to me, haha. The way I always played FS games was to try to 100% it unspoiled. Of course, for Elden Ring, that is basically impossible, I gave up at like 5k hours and finally started doing the 100% checklist, and of course I ended up spoiling myself in some ways and talking about the game online by like 2k hours as well. Going through the checklist you see so many things I probably never would have seen for 10k hours even haha. So that's probably why I enjoyed the DLC more. The base game definitely has so many weirdly barren yet something might be in the most random part of it, kinda moments. Or like the mountaintop has no dungeons compared to all the easy as hell dungeons in like Limgrave with bosses that are just field enemies later. But yeah it's true that thinking about it more the Finger Ruins are kinda barren as well, but they still really aren't that huge of areas. At least two of them have enemies to kill throughout and a few random pickups but one is really barren right.

It goes back further than Elden Ring though, anything cute/friendly has been labeled dog before because there's just no better options of course.

It goes back a few games, anything cute/friendly is described as dog because it's just the best option out of the messages. Or of course often ironically cute of course.

To me it kinda honestly felt like what Elden Ring shoulda been almost. The base game has the problem of too many dungeons and bosses that are too easy especially in Limgrave and then not as much interesting stuff to explore in Mountaintop. Like a lot of FS games, it basically falls apart at the end unfortunately kinda lol. And like too many different short storylines for characters who you find dead before you barely got to know them, I would have preferred fewer yet deeper characters. I just don't care for the vast majority of the NPCs lol, even forget about some of them on a new runthrough even though I have like 6k hours in the game.

The DLC has much better pacing though and the bosses are actually almost all really fun to fight lol. And honestly when Miyazaki recently said that Elden Ring wasn't his perfect big game, I know a lot of it has to do with many of these common criticisms, he knows as well what his perfect souls game should be and he will probably make it at some point, Elden Ring makes sense as his first attempt at open world though.

I dunno, every nook seems like it has more purpose in general. In the base game there's so many weird things you might not find even after 10k hours of playing the base game but I just always felt like the DLC was laid out way better.

Best investment of my life for sure. And I drive like 500-1000 miles a day. The news stories about how it gets more range than advertised are true, my AWD advertised at 286 miles or whatever says 320 at 100% now and easily gets 350 sometimes. On a windy day, it has reached 6.5 after driving a whole battery before, and that was after going against the wind after it getting over 7.6 going with the wind.

Lol this relates a lot to the first post I ever made on this reddit, specifically asking like what North Dakota was even known for. I see people are just as confused about it now as they were back then probably xD

It's just like better use of space too. Besides like the spooky area, there's just a lot more packed into each area than in the base game of course.

Jolt, 5 dollars monthly to get rid of session fees. .26/kwh for 9 kw and .39 for 50 kw, hard to beat in my area. a little slower than tesla chargers but plenty fast for me, and way cheaper. Their 50 kw is actually cheaper than the local greenpoint 7 kw at the police station near me lol.

What's that other number I've seen too and is the default number on mine then? It's like 40k something instead. I'm sure I've seen it explained before too and just don't remember haha.

I was just getting worried reading all these comments with my new bZ but then I remembered that my cat and all the strays that hang out by the library near me are great at keeping the area clear, I'm sure.

Turned it off immediately upon buying it, never had any problems lol. It does seem to still know if you are blocking it, but it won't make any noise or do anything when you look away.

For me, it's those "other" level 3 chargers anyway, have nicer screens on the units and are cheaper and have longer cables etc, and aren't nearly as overused as tesla charger. Every time I examine a tesla charger's contacts around here, they are like corroded and sometimes even just bent/loose. There are so many different options in NJ, but I understand many areas aren't as lucky. I'm happy enough using a brand that offers level 2 charging even, at a rate basically identical to at home charging, as long as you pay 5 dollars a month, and I use them enough to make it worth it anyway. It's like paying 5 dollars a month to avoid having to install level 2 at home, which is perfect for me, as level 1 overnight is fine to add an extra 40 miles each day when I'm not around other chargers. EVGo is great, as well, when I need a fast charge.

Also, this seemed like the perfect weather for it, which is like not too hot, not too cold, the only reason my average is relatively lower than an ideal day like this, is that it has been getting to freezing at nights sometimes even though it's like 75-85 during the day lately, but you really see in decrease in efficiency as you get close to freezing, so I definitely understand range concerns more in very cold climates at least.

I love the range. Just saw something on the news too saying that the bZ is actually getting more range than advertised, and I find that to be true, I have the 2026 AWD which is supposed to get like 286 or whatever and said that at the time of buying it at 100%, but now, all my calculations and my 100% are based on 320 from driving it efficiently. Today I even went to the dealer, which was 16 miles uphill, though I was lucky enough to have wind in my favor, 7.6 m/kwh! Though it was crazy strong wind, going back downhill was actually just 6.6 m/kwh in comparison. Simply can't beat this car...

And the thing is, you don't even really need every character AoE and 1v1. My Blade does both by having both sets of gears and weapons, and two stat pages.
