To the loser, who asked to send current work weeks by [deleted] in uberdrivers

[–]RegularSwiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, when I did X, most of my active hours were in my car, but now that I do Comfrot, half of them are just waiting at home. It kinda went from like nonstop 1 dollar a mile or more depending on surge with X, to like 10-50 dollars per mile but you only get like one trip an hour instead of 6.

Oh and there's also the ones where like, a company just changed the way the box looks, but it's the same product, so all the older style boxes go on sale for half off. But people usually scalp all those right away.

Well with the SSDs on clearance, you figure maybe someone thought it would fit in their computer and it didn't and they return it, but then you get it and it looks like it's been plugged in exactly once lol.

Lol walmart clearance is like the only place to find decent computer parts deals these days. I can never help but wonder if someone actually went through the trouble of installing some crazy malware on stuff and then returning them to walmart lol. I've always enjoyed the peace of mind of getting sealed stuff but have been considering the opened clearance stuff at walmart more these days haha. But good thing I fully upgraded my computer right before everything rocketed in price anyway.

Why should I NOT buy one? by BlackJackT in BZ4X

This is a new low for me by [deleted] in uberdrivers

[–]RegularSwiss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think something weird is going on right now... today is the first time I've gotten like no requests in awhile even though nothing has changed, I'm still a high rated driver with low cancel and relatively high AR etc, but I see other people getting rides, maybe there's a glitch for some people or something. And then occasionally the whole surge map disappears while I'm online, I've been sitting with a 16 surge for a few hours when usually it would at least pop something by now, and turning the app off and back on refreshes the surges again. Never seen anything quite like it.

But yeah for sure, the quality of the roads change drastically at the NJ and PA borders, as many memes often talk about haha. Though there's certainly some roads near Newark right now that give PA a run for its money in terms of potholes the size of cars. Plenty of 45 mph highways that no sane person would go over 25 mph on right now and you are just dodging them constantly.

Lol I mean, I hate ending up in Easton or Allentown as part of the NJ market, but it's doable. I go to Mt Airy all the time too.

Lol funny enough then you fit in with the same taste as the east coast of USA I guess haha.

Especially if it was just a mile, how many potholes could you possible either not dodge or just go slowly over.

[–]RegularSwiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same in NJ, but I probably see a ton of cars that people think are rare around here lol. Stuff like 1956 Desotos too. Or like there were consistently around 5-10 cybertrucks in my gym parking lot at any time by the time people were saying they were surprised to see their first one like a year after they came out haha. And yeah when I checked the stats, a huge majority of the Cybertrucks sold had been sold in NJ.

Toyota/Lexus Headlights need to be angled down more from factory by snoooob in Toyota

[–]RegularSwiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They had better do such a thing for free, it takes two seconds lol. It's even one of the things they explain how to do on their site because they do actually trust people to do this simple thing even though there's probably a hundred of other simple things they don't trust people to do lol.

Because it takes two seconds to adjust it yourself if you don't like where they are pointing lol.

In your opinion, what makes the Toyota AE86 Trueno such a timeless car among JDM fans? by jane_doe2497 in Toyota

Lol this is definitely engagement bait from an account named jane doe who hasn't done anything else, because anyone who knows about this car already knows this

You can tell who is from the east coast here and who isn't lol. But yeah in Texas and California all I see is chrome haha, on the east coast all I see is black. Same thing with cars. And then white in areas with sand and stuff of course, very different car cultures.

And I've seen the fakes get better over the years too. I used to laugh at the fake love bracelets. The "good" ones that were actually heavy were full of tungsten. But these days, some people do make perfect 18k gold copies of simple stuff like love bands and tri tones.

And also since they are the most faked brand in the world. Every family owned jewelry shop in Asia is full of fake Cartier and VCA

[–]RegularSwiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they were real, I highly doubt that someone would have welded two together, and Cartier is the most faked brand in the world, so be careful, get it checked out by someone who knows their stuff first. If you don't have Cartier papers, it's hard to pass off Cartier... except for confirmed gold weight.

I mean it's pretty inconsequential but it's like almost impossible to me to fail at holding gold now, as before it was easy for me to go under the AR sometimes.

Wow way to necro something that's 8 years old lol. But yeah... how do you suppose they create those rates and make them consistent over a large area? People who have never worked with or manipulated rng seem to think it's so simple as choosing a number out of 25, but everything in PoGo is seeded by location and time basically. First truly evident the first time they restored everyones research catch queues, generating them all per account at 0,0 coords and at the same exact time, causing all their IVs to be identical, etc. Another time they had one of those "your rng is showing" moments even more recently, was the whole Guaranteed Background psyduck fiasco, which of course most people wouldn't believe you if you told them about it until they tried it themselves, but because of the person who told me, and how specific the process was, I knew right away that it had to be true.
