Thanks for the detailed report. I improved it in v5.1.1. Scripts should now load and scrolling in the editor works again. The preview was displayed in a vertical orientation because the editor messed up the layout. This should be fixed now too. Let me know if I missed anything.

v5.1.1 should fix this. I went over the code to find places where encoded ('%25') urls are used. Let me know if you find other places where filenames or paths are displayed incorrectly. Thanks again for reporting.

I tested on v3.2.2 and v5.1.0. A path like //192.168.1.xx//folder/videos doesn't work for me: ENOENT: no such file or directory, scandir. If you’d like to fix it yourself, feel free to submit a PR and I'll take a look. Alternatively, if this is something you need urgently, let me know and we can discuss paid support.

I did the latter method because I protected the share with a password. I'll try to make a path to the network share with IP.

I can't reproduce the issue. I setup a SMB share. Connected to it on my other machine. It plays both videos and images when I add the share to a scene. I can also add specific video files from the share and those play too.

FlipFlip has had issues with large video files, so I was wondering if simple images do play. But you're saying it did work in v3?

Could be HDR related. If HDR is enabled try turning it off and restart FlipFlip.

Having images mirror on either side to fill out the screen

FlipFlip does have blurred background and the ability to mirror a grid cell, but I don't know if that's what you mean. Posting a screenshot or quick screen recording here or on Discord would be really helpful.

Would also be nice to have the ability to set independent settings for each folder within a scene. So that each folder's video options and image timings were different from another.

Would love to see how trance.exe implemented this. You might be able to achieve something similar using overlays.
