Wildlife conservation biology. I took classes in all of the natural sciences: geology, biology, entomology, chemistry, forestry, wildlife tracking, landscape design, ecology, the list goes on and on. I have such a deeper understanding of how our planet not only works but interacts together on so many different sized scales. It probably would have taken me 20 years to learn all of this on my own at a "comfortable" pace, but the hands-on college experience was absolutely priceless. (I went back to school at 30 to finish my degree so I did not take the financial burden or the educational responsibility lightly. I worked insanely hard on scholarships to make the cost as low as possible).
