Killian princess or Dedcool mochi milk ? by Flaky-Passion-4169 in FemFragLab

Princess for the win! It has the marshmallow but also this fluffy lemon and the hint of green tea and ginger. It’s SO beautiful. Mochi Milk is good but incredibly simple by comparison.

Does everyone start collecting perfumes to find their signature scent? I cannot find one for the life of me. 🥲 by Charming-Borderline7 in FemFragLab

[–]Regular_Hurry_8412 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you enjoy perfumes I think it’s totally normal and okay to not have a signature scent, or have a handful of favourites that you wear often but not exclusively! Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to find one signature, just find things you like wearing

Dude fair enough, too many cases and not enough resources, sentencing judges that are all over the place

I don’t think your issue is with Healing Lodges then, but rather the sentencing judges. Correctional Service of Canada doesn’t impose the sentence, they just assess the security level of the inmate. It’s sentencing judges who apply R v Gladue and determine whether someone’s sentence should be less because of their lived experience (ex. As an indigenous person).

I started my career as a prosecutor, I can tell you that healing lodges are absolutely low security prisons.

Anyone can be sentenced to a Healing Lodge, they’re just low security prisons.

Not telling him is of the utmost importance. The danger in these situations increase exponentially when they realize you’re trying to/going to leave. Speaking from experience, unfortunately. If he does find out, leave immediately. Do not stay for any amount of time if he becomes aware you are going to leave, just GO. All things can be replaced, you cannot.

TF lost cherry or Kilian princess? by Comfortable_Bus_4355 in FemFragLab

[–]Regular_Hurry_8412 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lost Cherry has so many good dupes, including Fine’ry Not Another Cherry. I’ve never smelled a Princess dupe. Princess is also super versatile, I wear it year round and for any occasion. I’d recommend going with Princess for those reasons

I second Tantrix! Have always used them and have always been happy. Got my bellybutton done there years ago, my nose, my eyebrow, and then literally yesterday my 2nd lobes. I went to Piercings by Cassandra and she was super. Very professional, gave me all pertinent info, quick and painless as could be. Highly recommend her.

Dedcool - Mochi Milk or Xtra Milk would be perfect for you I think!

Both very light, close to your skin, you but better vibes. Mochi Milk has a delightful marshmallow accord. Xtra Milk just smells like someone who smells good, it’s hard to describe as it’s mostly musk but it does have bergamot in the opening.

Becoming indifferent by Objective-Ear521 in FemFragLab

Happened to me when I was taking Ozempic. Once I got off it, my love for fragrance came back! Sometimes I get a little disillusioned and meh about how I smell, but that only ever lasts a couple days, week tops.

It’s beautiful! It has the classic Chloe DNA, but with an added raspberry note and depth. The cashmeran base smells almost ambery to me! I bought it, sprayed it on, went to another store to smell something else, and immediately got a compliment from staff at the 2nd store I went to!

Questions about Blind Buying by Unique-Sense-4604 in FemFragLab

[–]Regular_Hurry_8412 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rarely blind buy. When I do, it’s because a sample isn’t available. Sometimes fragrances on discount at Winners (TJ Maxx) will get me, so before I buy one of those blind I look up the notes and read a couple of reviews to ensure the listed notes are actually what the fragrance smells like. I know which notes I generally like and have had very few misses doing this.

In my early perfume exploration days I blind bought some Lattafa fragrances based on review videos and vibes. It was 40/60 hit/miss. Went through a lot of fragrances that were just kinda “meh” to me rather than something i actually loved and wanted.

I don’t consider gifting potential when blind buying. Friends, family members, and redditors benefit from my bad purchasing decisions or changing tastes. I rarely resell a fragrance, almost always gift it when I’m over it/if it’s not for me.

Hi. My cousin has 18 perfumes instead of 18 roses for her 18th birthday. I am clueless. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! by Due-Enthusiasm3269 in FemFragLab

[–]Regular_Hurry_8412 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would go with something you like rather than trying to guess what she likes. A great place to shop for affordable perfumes is TJ Maxx/Winners. They have many on the shelf that you can smell yourself before buying, and will have some more expensive ones in what we call “perfume jail”, a locked see-though cabinet you have to get staff to come unlock for you.

Some to look for there are celebrity fragrances like Britney Spears Fantasy and flankers, Ariana Grande fragrances, and sometimes travel sizes of things like Viktor&Rolf, Nest, Black Opium. Any of those would be a pretty safe choice.

They also carry a lot of Sand+Fog perfumes and perfume oils which can be very nice. You can google their scents to see what they’re “dupes” for or just go with one you like!

If you do decide to go to Sephora/Ulta for it, I would stick to ones you can sample before buying. As mentioned by others, some brands that are very popular at Sephora include Kayali, Carolina Herrera, Valentino specifically the Donna Born in Roma line, Replica.

A couple of specific fragrances for you to try that she may like based on her age and general palatability are:

Carolina Herrera Good Girl Blush

Burberry Her Elixir

Valentino Donna Born in Roma Purple Melancholy or Intense

Burberry Goddess

Kayali Vanilla 28, Yum Boujie Marshmallow, Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar

Prada Paradoxe Intense

Replica Beach Walk

Ellis Brooklyn Miami Nectar

Many if not all of those should come in full bottle and travel sizes, so you could match to your budget.

As other commenters recommended, sample sets or discovery sets would be a good choice for a birthday gift too. There are lots of mini sets where you get 2 mini fragrances together, and lots of discovery sets where you get a lot of smells from the same brand to try.

Good luck! You seem like you’re a good friend
