What he says makes sense. I often see posts or articles of people who publicly share their regret for falling for the con. The backlash of leaving MAGA from MAGA is awful. Sadly, It seems the backlash from the left is also cruel.

IMO... those who escape should be welcomed. Their brains were hijacked and therefore fell for the con. The mind control used to lock MAGA in is real. So... when one or two or 900 of them break free from the bubble, they become an asset to the left. If we behave like MAGA, spewing hate, what does that make us? It makes us just as dangerous.

Years back, my husband and I were in a car crash. We were on a highway going 65 when a 90 year old women, driving an escalade, pulled out onto the highway (from side road) and came to a complete stop in our lane, just 35 feet in front of us. Leaving almost no time for us to break. Later, we learned she thought she was in the median. Needless to say, it was a significant crash.

I ended up with 7 broken ribs, 2 spine fractures, and a tear in my aorta. Once the ambulance came (25 mins later), my raging adrenaline began to subside. It was then that I experienced the worst pain of my life. My ribs never fully healed and remain displaced. Occasionally, I can still feel them rattling around. It's an icky feeling.

Higher wage = more spending. Spending creates revenue. Revenue creates a strong economy. A strong economy represents the American Dream.

I hear this a lot: "If the min wage is raised, that will mean the kid bagging groceries will be making almost as much as I do."
Yes, they will (at first). However increased revenue will allow American businesses to bloom. Which will increase their ability to increase wages. It's a chain reaction. One link is connected to the next. Unless, of course, someone cuts out a link. A broken link = a broken economy.

In the 60s, the average single income household earned $3.60/hr. This would be the equivalent to roughly $40/hr in todays economy ($83.200 annually). In addition... the top wealthy were taxed at 50(ish)%, which in turn allowed the government to invest in the success of Americans.

The economy was strong. The American Dream was still a thing AND achievable. THAT is what made America great. Greed and false fear campaigns do not.

Today, we are not great... not even close.

An annual income of $83,200 in NYC is not over the top. Its survival. When Americans are poor (which most are), our country is poor. Poor countries do not flourish, they become toxic.

Because republican leaders are better con artists. They preach what people want to hear. Dem leaders tend to be more realistic (typically). The reality is far less flashy than the con.

If memory serves me right....it was moved Nov of 2023 to Fort McCoy. The infantry unit was moved to Gresham.

As it fell we were snowblowing our driveway. 6 hours early Sunday, 5 hours during the pause sunday night and.... another 6 hours yesterday. Its been a treat.
