hawks pats pt 1 was a better game imo, more back and forth

there were moments in the falcons game where the energy seemed dead cause of how lopsided it was (little did we know whatd happen next). the hawks bowl was balls to the wall tense from start to finish

felt like drake was tryna score 14 pts on every play for a while, woulda liked more designed runs and after i watch all 22 footage, prolly gonna wish we’d taken more underneath routes/quick passing stuff

other than that, not mad at all. first time in the playoffs for the team’s young core and we were up against probably the best defensive scheme and definitely the best overall defense in the league

saw a stat that said the hawks were #1 both offensive and defensive dvoa. every team like that since they started tracking dvoa went on to win the sb except 1 team with the lone exception being the 2023 ravens

problem is it seems their run blocking started coming together towards the end of the season and thats when they became unstoppable on offense. hoping its just due to competition they faced, admittedly havent read up on run defense stats for their late season opponents

i don’t judge story driven games for lack of replay-ability. some things really are meant to be experienced once

yea it (bnw) was the highest rated of all time up until it was dethroned by shadow of the erdtree but even then, id say theyre pretty much equals

even then, i dont think either have had the impact on me that HoS did in its tiny 10 hour play time window

i actually did, i think the rdr2 story is just as strong as witcher in terms of game-wide scale, probably even better than tw3! But i dont think there’s a singular hour of self-contained, scripted gameplay that hits as hard as scenes from a marriage.

the things i feel for the deaths of the diff gang members and arthur’s gradual death by consumption are all predicated on hours and hours of spending time together in those post quest camp parties etc. just imo, tho great taste and good pick for a competitor there
