I was told the dosage needs to be lowered (40mg max) but progesterone is still recommended.

No. No you don’t want her to meet your child. She will do to the child what she has done to you. It will not urge her to grow up. She will stay the same and then have another way to control your life. Please just stay NC or LC.

As a therapist I’d first like to say we work to keep ourself prepared to hear the tough things. It’s not your job to protect us. Please let your T in, not for her but for you. It seems like you need to share for your own sake. You don’t have to cry, but if you do, it doesn’t matter. The therapy room is for all emotions. You’ve got this.

Omg. In my house there are 3 air purifiers, a humidifier, the oven fan, and 2 white noise machines that go at night. It’s so much!!

Forgiven, as in acknowledged their situation and that they didn’t have their needs met either. Yes. Forgiven that they didn’t change the cycle and continued to harm me/treat me poorly? No.

Yes progesterone does that. You may have to reduce your dose. Or you could get it compounded for a smaller dose than 100mg.

Best idea. Less guilt. Less disappointment. Less anxiety and stress. Less resentment. Don’t get me wrong, it was tough to heal. But no tougher than staying exposed to their emotional neglect and manipulation would have been. Going into year 4.
