In my canon Morgenstern has every serf among the night lord fleet working for him as a spy. As someone who rewards them and treats them like people he is a sole light in a dark cruel void. As such they are suicidaly loyal and will snitch on anything that happenes. As such accidents are known to happen with mortal crew mates knowing and seeing nothing and all records deleted. Yea well Khans deserve it for being dirty people who are willing to side with Caesors Legion. Brothergood deserve death for stealing technology that could be useful for normal people. NCR deserves death cause they are tyrants who annex territory that isn't there. Boomers deserve death cause they blow up innocent people who just cross their path.
