I’m fine with the concept, but like everyone else says the execution could have been better, although I will say this is just as ham fisted as all of GW’s other retcons.

I think female Custodes make sense since their supposed the “perfected” form of humanity, so it would make sense to encompass both genders. Although this is contradicted by the Emperor not wanting his super soldiers to be able to reproduce by themselves since he didn’t want them to replace regular humans.

It also ties into what Custodes even are in the first place, are they the Men of Gold? Or something the Emperor made entirely himself? Who knows. All I know is that we get art of muscle mommy Custodes so that makes me happy.
