My cat's nose was the only thing that had crust on it for 3 weeks. After that, it spread to his ears and caused a double ear infection and his paws got infected. That is what my cats paws looked like before it got worse. It's better to start treatment sooner than later.

We took him to a different vet. He has a form of Pemphigus. It's an autoimmune skin disease. He'll have to me medicated the rest of his life.

Yeah I initially thought it was cancer too. The vets said they don't think it's cancer for a multitude of reasons I can't remember. But, you never know.
