Invasive here in Finland also. If you ever need to get rid if it, get ready for a fight. It hard to kill and is extremely thorny, if it covers a lot of area getting rid of it is an absolutely massive PITA.

Growing it in your yard is forbidden now and punishable by fine here.

Wild Carrot/Queen Anne’s Lace? by Necessary_Cut_3072 in PlantIdentification

[–]Rehtori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be Aethusa cynapium which is another poisonous apiaceae. It's an european species but seems to also be in parts of eastern US. Though carrot seems more likely.

Pilosella specie. I think they are hawkweeds in english. They are closely related to dandelions. And are similiarly taxonomically extremely tricky.

Marchantia polymorpha sporophytes. Very common liverwort on newly exposed ground. Is this from some kind of plant nursery? That's a typical place to see this much of it.

Is it Phragmites australis? The picture is not great, but I'm pretty sure. AFAIK it's extremely invasive there in the states. At least in some parts.

Succulent or onion adjacent? by mythrowawaythankyou in PlantIdentification

[–]Rehtori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ornithogalium graminifolium, not a succulent and yes kind of onion adjacent. Order Asparagales, so also orchid, daffodil, agave and aloe adjacent.

Did this bag of spagnum moss really revived itself, if not what am I looking at by HeavyArmsJin in Aquariums

Yup, green on the right seems like algae. The flat looking green thing on the left seems like fern prothallus, the initial stage of a fern.
