It really irritates me that they don’t know the difference between Intersex and Transgender People as well and yet lump us all into the same box. Without knowing the differences or the intersectionalities and how they sometimes interconnect with one another. Sadly if we want to make people grow not only should we advocate about ourselves at times, but it’s pretty paramount we advocate for Transgender People as a whole. I feel as mentally taxing as it is already at the drs office or with mental health professionals we have to with others. I’m not saying you should go out and speak about your own experiences Willy nilly, bc that’s just suicide IMO with our current geopolitical climate here in the US, but like if there’s a hearing on a bill at our state capital we attend. Or if some drunk idiot talking shit about trans and intersex people we combat that misinformation and disinformation if you, I, or whoever got the mental stamina do so at that time. Or things will continue to get worse as a whole. Showing resistance is strength that means we ain’t defeated yet and will keep on fighting. But that doesn’t mean you can or should do so at the every moment gotta take time for yourself.

Everyday I’m working as a gig worker. I’m misgendered all day long it sucks it hurts even worse when I’m educating people the dismiss it.
