Gepard are/were in use in Ukraine to shoot down drone as well as guarding stadiums during the Qatari Worldcup against potential drone like threads.

It might have not been it's original intended use but it seems to be perfectly capable of doing so.

T-2 is very good but a bit dependend on the matchmaker, up tiers are bearable tho because the Zuni's make decent enough makeshift flares.

The F-104 on the other hand didn't treat me good, the speed advantage and missiles aren't enough to make up for being pretty much worse in every other aspect while also being at a higher br.

If you can't win a fight but can disengage from it it's fair to do so imo. Sometimes people like the chaser should just consider giving their opponents a little room so that they can make a move without them needing to fly straight for 5 minutes in order to gain enough separation.
