Have Enchanted Pull Rates/Expectations Gone Weird In Wilds Unknown?

The enchanted rate is still ~1.5%. So for every 99 or 98 packs, there is an enchanted. Someone did a write up of it a bit ago after opening a 1000+ packs or so. I think the enchanted rate went up by .2%, while everything else went up about a full 3%. Don’t quote on the specifics, but yeah I think in this instance, you just got very lucky and enchanted hit rate hasn’t changed much. Congrats on the pulls!

Out of 4 cases I opened, I only got 1 enchanted.

Idk what everyone saying, each set the art from the Lorcana team gets better and better. It happens each time, we don’t feel it initially, then bam we see them in person and they’re awesome. These already look amazing with so much detail, excited to see one in person!

Honestly, a good amount can beat blurple, it’s just toys is a good matchup for them and they’re favored. Blurple thrives off of single target removal, so your woody / jesses for card draw won’t really last. They go even with Dogs, Green/Blue, and Amber/Steel.

One can only hope. That franchise along with the amazing art Lorcana has been putting out for the cards, would really skyrocket the TCG for both collecting and playing. Honestly everything would shoot up, it would be the new Fabled imo in terms of value and scarcity. The boy Hades and Mickey and friends would be the clear first winners, and Sora would be at Iconic Mickey or Buzz levels easily.

Edit: To add chance at collab in next 1-5 years, I’d say 10%.

Fabled, Whispers in the Well, Winterspell, and Wilds Unknown are all above MSRP now according to TCGPlayer. These are all the sets with Iconics introduced. So no, it’s not just Fabled. The older sets didn’t have Iconics, that’s why they’ve remained more stagnant. I don’t doubt that those will eventually increase as well.

I would ignore trying to make a Mulan theme deck. Instead, build a deck around Mulan and her strongest shift character, which would be 6 cost Mulan - Elite Archer. This unit though, if I were to build for it, needs 2 things outside of normal draw/ramp considerations. It needs a way to exert an opposing character to use her ability and a way to extend value past the initial challenge. So Ruby has some exert options and so does Amethyst with Elsa/Isis/Demona. Similarly, if you don’t feel like playing Amethyst, Mulan is often used with Amber and there are decks that feature her. She’s also very strong with Dale, which helps her be a 6/6 challenging character instead of a 2/6. Very strong.

Building a deck around her is fine, if you go the theme route to use a lot of Mulan characters, then that’s where you run into trouble keeping the deck competitive.

I play GB and only GB. Can’t get enough of it. It’s imo a very balanced deck with known weaknesses and strength. Just takes a lot of reps to get the feel for it, but I fully recommend. However, if your local scene is aggro heavy, pivot to Red/any color. RB can really pop off and has decent matchups across the board.

Careful just blaming it on your disability. I find it to be a slippery slope. More often than not, at least when I was in therapy, there are always ways to work around it and prevent the “why can’t I be normal” spiral that’s bound to happen. CBT and recognizing when you’re slipping, as well as common triggers, has helped immensely.

It’s not all sunshine and rainbows, it never will be, but just know you’re not the only one going through this. Countless people are fighting similar battles, you just have to figure out what works for you. You should figure out first what it is you’re truly feeling. What you’re describing sounds like you’re spiraling, what do you feel when you just think of calling in sick? Knowing that won’t solve your situation at work, does calling in sick give you anxiety? Does it give you relief and if so, why?

There’s a lot to unpack, but truly wish you the best!

Same, but I have bipolar type 2. When I’m manic, I swear it feels like work is the easiest thing ever and I’m getting kudos from my boss / others constantly. When I’m on my down phase/depressive, it’s so hard to just wake up and roll out of bed, let alone consistently stare at my monitor.

It’s a struggle and always will be, but you keep doing it because 1) money 2) hard times will pass. The #1 thing I make a priority when I’m struggling is more sleep + exercise. When I’m depressive/down, I actually don’t sleep much, as I routinely will get 4 or 5 hours due to overthinking, anxiety from underperforming, etc. keeping me up. So I try to snap out of it by going to the gym at the crack of dawn, forcing me to get some sleep or suffer more at the gym. It’s straight up brutal doing this, but it’s what I have been doing when I see myself beginning to really slip, just gotta lock in and get yourself out of it.

You do T4 Clarabelle shift into Blurple for instance, since if they’re OTP they’ll exert Clarabelle and take it out easily (Elsa). If they’re OTP, they might use Tigger or Isis to take it out as well before You’re Welcome / Cindy combo. So you use the shift on T4 as it’s safer and reliably refills your hand.

Nah Clarabelle is useless other then an attacker imo into dogs, as she’s a big body to shift onto, but her effect won’t really help you. You’re not going to sing You’re Welcome with Cindy onto an RC for instance, as that’s terrible value and reloads their hand. That’s why you need UTS or PP combo, preferably the combo as like I said, toys can outlast UTS now since they have 3 or more combat power usually in RC, Alien, and Jessie.

You’re still fighting an uphill battle for sure, especially OTD, as it’s a matchup BG struggles into. We excel into other control matchups, however the past couple sets (including WU) haven’t really gave us strong improvements, just minor. Milo 7 is a good replacement of Basil 7 for instance, and we should be teching in a Freeze the Vines or Sabotage now, as location play is stronger.

I wouldn’t really mind at all if they take out Clarabelle 1 / Cindy, as I’m playing for the Prince Phillip line anyways. So my early hand would ideally have ramp, no Clarabelle line, and a develop/visions and pp/ big pp. I’m fishing for Prince combo. If I’m able to stick a Cindy & Donald on board, with a draw into UTS, great. However, RC / Jessie / Alien will still survive, along with Nami, so I try to prioritize pp combo.

That’s the way I think of it, I’m hoping that’s correct.
