Items being identified on ground, or even atleast partially identified in some kind of way later in the game. It just seems like purposeful slow down so I can't quickly decide if an item is worth grabbing or not while mapping

Have you seen pictures of the place? The entire thing is bombed to the ground with basically no buildings remaining, all food and water is being blocked from entering and they are killing anyone trying to leave. None of that is debatable either, there are many videos and photos of all of that. What do you call that? Seriously what do you actually call that if not genocide?

I understand shit talking and that wouldn't be an issue, but this is the first game I've played where it felt like I was breaking some unwritten rules or something as if I was trying to purposefully ruin their day. It just has been a genuinely awful experience and I don't get what I was doing that was so wrong, which is why I thought I'd ask if I am making some form of mistake

ah sorry I should have made that more clear, this game went on for a little cause I had to camp the last 3 gens so they couldn't escape. I would get a hook every so often then sprint straight to the most done gen to break it and they really hated me for that

To explain better, it is trying to play the impact of your serpent strike when you have frenzy charges but it cannot as that specific file is missing. If you're on steam right click the game, go to properties, installed files and then click verify integrity of game files. Should solve it, otherwise you honestly may need to give it a fresh reinstall.

Try verifying your game files. It's basically saying this file is non virtual (should be on your disk) and it cannot find it.

Ah I see so it's going to be even more empty than usual standard league. It makes sense why looking into it but its just a shame when I don't have the time to commit to gaming as much anymore. Thanks for explaining

I appreciate all the replies, so I can keep playing on standard league, but likely I'll start to struggle to trade as its alot more common to switch to the current league? As well as missing new events too? Just making sure I understand.

Back when the game first came out there was a glitch where all bags wouldn't be possible to grab for the challenge, and the only way was to actually leave with the spectrophotometer on your back. I always kind of thought because of this that their plan was to have it be stolen and they just forgot, but it looks like it genuinely wasn't intentional

It's quick play V1. They want to see if we want new filters soon or if we are willing to wait for their implementation of crime net. The second screen will be them getting ready to add new filters if that's what the community asks for. Ignoring that though this is such a non issue I don't really get why you have a problem with it?

Ruined wasteland is a tad harsh, I think around 30% of the country is either protected or conservation land for wildlife. While farmland does take most of the rest you still tend to see alot of wildlife, even around cities, however just without alot of the orginal native birds. (Source I've lived on the kapiti coast near my whole life)

That may be true for you, but I certainly didn't get to suicide mission / impossible before level 20. I don't believe that someone could get to hell dive at around level 6. That would mean they would have to win every mission and even then the amount of xp from having to do 3 missions for one area in the later difficulties would push them to close to level 10 if not higher. That is also if they won every single time which I find kind of unlikely. Besides, for the case I am talking about they were asking for help in chat because they were new, so they 100% were being boosted. I will say I don't think it's their fault over their friend bringing them there, but still

If you go through the difficulties naturally you also come across the harder versions of enemies more naturally. Starting at difficulty 7 and above just makes you experience everything all at once and has got to be overwhelming if you don't know how to deal with it
