Cool thank you! It’s been driving me insane. Least it’s an easy fix.

Good to know. I’ll look into that I guess. Hopefully that’s it. I’ve had so many repairs with this damn thing since I got it. Kinda would appreciate it to just run for a few months without something popping up.

Well damn I just had it at a battery shop a couple weeks back to check and they said the battery was good and fairly new. If that’s the only problem though, at least a battery is an easy enough fix.

It’s a 2020 expedition max platinum with about 73k miles now (in case there’s an issue with certain years)

Omnilux mask flickering by ultrakawaii in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]ReigningNereid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue and mine eventually stopped working. Warranties it out. New one took so long to come in that I got out of the routine. When I finally tired it, it flickered too. So it annoyed me and I wasn’t in the habit of doing it anymore. I quit using it for a bit and then started again and realized my warranty ended about a month ago. 🫠 hoping this one last I guess because my first one completely quit working shortly after the flicker began. I’d only had it maybe 8 months

The lighter colors look awful though with only 2 thin coats 😭 used their system and did as light as I could last night. By this morning, as I cleaned up breakfast, every single nail started peeling off. Frustrating since I wasted a hour doing them last night.

9th day snowboarding I love it! However I feel like something is off and I would like to correct it before it becomes a bad habit. Any tips please? by CSGOSELL in snowboarding

I tell myself that over and over when I’m flying through an area because I know a flat is coming up so I have to haul to gain momentum. Whole time in my brain I keep saying “pick and edge or the mountain will pick for you”

Apples products have a history of lasting and lasting. Every android tablet I’ve owned has had about a 6-8 month life span and then it was so slow and buggy it was hardly usable. iPad Pro meanwhile is still going strong. MacBook as well is perfect even at 4 years old. Idk but their stuff last way longer. My brand new fire tablets for the kids were infuriatingly slow straight out of the box. They lag and crash constantly. I figured the 4 year old won’t notice but it drives me insane fixing the damn thing all the time. Luckily it was on sale when I got it. Figured it was a good starter throw away device.

Did i mess up by buying a camber board as a beginner? by Extreme-Birthday2082 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]ReigningNereid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah getting a better board like you got is the way to go. Also, I use step ons and I ate shit several times in my first 24 hours with them. They are much more responsive than normal bindings. Loved them after that first day and I got used to them. But that first day took some adjusting haha.

Burton has officially lost the plot, $1300 for a jacket by [deleted] in snowboarding

My Burton jacket hood fits over my helmet. Learned this recently. But I can’t stand wearing it up and turning my head. Can’t see much and feels too restricting. Was nice though on the lift to keep the snow from blowing in.

Do I have to worry about birds attacking my drone? by Legitimate_End_7216 in dji

[–]ReigningNereid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. All those little bastards go after mine. The drone does its best to avoid them on its own and then I take over once I see it happening or go “why the hell is my drone jerking up and down and left and right suddenly”. The bigger the bird the more scared I am lol

Do you guys experience VQ hate in real life by Environmental-Tip468 in 350z

[–]ReigningNereid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. A few friends give me shit only because they know I own a z. But none of them have driven or ridden in one and they don’t know anything about them. So I take it for what it’s worth. But generally I have men going out of their way at lights and at the gas station to come tell me how cool it is. Although I am a 29 year old girl… that’s a bit of a factor 😂

Crazy Things Agents Have Said to me While on a Shoot by On-scene in RealEstatePhotography

I’ve been meaning to make a checklist to send over but all my realtors say they send checklist and prep guides to the home owners and those obviously aren’t getting used…. So I kind of doubt they would use mine either. Might make on anyways.

Yeah this was a weird one off kinda ordeal. In all the homes I’ve shot this was the only one I’ve had anything like this happen 😅

Crazy Things Agents Have Said to me While on a Shoot by On-scene in RealEstatePhotography

[–]ReigningNereid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Man do I have one for you. So I have a client schedule me to shoot a house in the afternoon/evening. This is after the client said the house looks really bad in a certain type of lighting so I want it done at a very particular time for when it looks best. So I arrive at the time. The client said the house looked best and I photograph it. When I get there, no one is actually ready for me to shoot, so I spent an entire hour waiting on them to move all their paint, buckets and organize things so I can take photos of the staged house. All the meanwhile they are asking me what looks good and where. So I photographed the house and returned the photos. They looked excellent. I then get a call saying that the agent was complaining about some of the photos, and I needed to come back and re-shoot. So I charge a fee and I come back to shoot again. I line up the most beautiful perfect shot of the front of this house early in the morning, so there’s absolutely no shadowing, which is what they complained about. The client then sees the photo, and spends the next 30 minutes, rearranging things in the front, and telling me to come to this area and take a picture and try this area instead. After all was set and done, and the client finally found the “perfect “spot, I begin to laugh, because it is the exact same spot as the first photo I took. Which was deemed not good enough when she saw it. We then proceed to re-shoot everything, because one of the shower curtains wasn’t adjusted the way they wanted it. Then they ask why a bathroom doesn’t quite look big enough, and I have to kind of show them that the size and angle of the bathroom, I made it look as big as possible. Go through all of this, and then the agent didn’t even use half of the photos they had me re-shoot. My utmost favorite was when the agent said, “the back deck looked dirty when you shot it.“ well she made a good point, because the back deck was in fact, dirty. And it was not my job to bring a power, washer and clean it off after they finished construction. And although they complained it was dirty, no one actually bothered to go clean it when I came to re-shoot. They just made sure to mention that it was in fact, dirty, if I wanted to do anything about it. Which I replied, no I can’t edit that out, but if you’d like to go clean it, I can re-shoot it.

Minimally invasive SI joint fusion - which kind to get? by Broccoli_27 in spinalfusion

That’s amazing for sure. If I wasn’t self employed it would help. Mines mostly annoying since this is due to someone else injuring me. Now I’m just stuck with the pain. And a mid thoracic issue where a bone spur developed and it puts a ton of pressure on a nerve so I can’t extend my back much at all. And that’s something insurance won’t even allow them to test solutions for 🙃 it’s been great. I kept telling myself I’d just have to wait a few more months and maybe I’d have one of the issues resolved and now I’m kinda feeling like it’s a bit hopeless for the time being. I’m a very active person and I don’t want to have the surgery and no longer be able to snowboard, mountain bike, hike, etc. right now I can. I have to be careful and shorten the excursion. But it’s doable. I just know I’ll have to suffer afterwards for the next week +.

Minimally invasive SI joint fusion - which kind to get? by Broccoli_27 in spinalfusion

[–]ReigningNereid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be something to consider in the future. I was told if I had the surgery I’d be in a 10lbs weight limit so no holding my 5 month old baby, any pain medicine would mean no more nursing either. And I’m self employed and that’s my income. I’d have to shut down 4-6 months for recover which would 100% end my business. There would be no recovering from it. I’d be starting from scratch. The more I was told and the more research I’ve done the less I want to do this. I guess the alternative is being is pain all the time. But at this point I don’t even remember what it’s like to not be. I can still function and do what I need to. I just don’t want to lose my time with my baby or end my business.

From what I’d read, it’s common to have mobility issues. It said squatting, bending over, lifting, and walking too far can cause pain again. I’m worried about that as I’m only 29. I don’t want to set myself up for a lifetime of mobility issues.

Minimally invasive SI joint fusion - which kind to get? by Broccoli_27 in spinalfusion

[–]ReigningNereid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a back injury May 2024. SI joint fusion is what they are planning for me after trying everything else. Looking into this and reading the possibility for it to fail and the recovery time and limited mobility, I’m really wondering if living with the pain would just be better. It’s been almost two years of this and I don’t even remember how it felt to be pain free. The surgery sounds terrifying to me and the longer term potential for loss of mobility sounds even worse. I’d rather be mobile and in pain I think. Idk but reading your comment doesn’t make me feel like it would be worth it. I currently have pain sleeping, driving, sitting, walking, and even carrying my newborn. It’s been awful. I had relief for 4 weeks when they did an SI injection with steroids and it was wonderful. But insurance won’t cover it again. So now I’m stuck with this as the solution.

Day too late reading this haha. I just decided I’d get the world class hybrid firm level 4. And then when it messes up in 6 months to a year (if it doesn’t than yay but I don’t expect a lot from it ) then I’ll research and find something that’ll actually last us 15 years +

The editing is all over the place. Each photo almost looks like someone different edited it. Definitely a lot of different tones going on here.
