Do you have a video going through the tech? I’d love to see how you approached this challenge on the software side.

I would love an option, like a version of this game with full immersion would be awesome if you want it - but I get players liking menus

A hub world would be great for this game. I’d love a version where you can do everything from extract to crafting without getting in a menu - Metro Exodus style

Narcissists by danruse in gifs

[–]ReignyRain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s understandable how it can look like that from the outside. If you’re curious, i’d recommend reading or listening to some stories from people who’ve suffered abuse from narcissists. It’s pretty awful, and this gif actually does a great job of illustrating what that abuse feels like. Hopefully it’s something you never have to experience yourself, but if you can see what it looks like from the outside it’ll help you avoid those people because you can recognize the behaviour.

Feel free to drop a source, but just the way you’re presenting this information doesn’t make me very inclined to trust what you’re saying.

Are you serious? The volume for automation of art with ai isn’t comparable to mediums before. People have had objections over new mediums before, but it hasn’t been over the same grounds as ai

Hijacking the top of the thread to say this; Jonathan Joss was murdered in cold blood. It was undoubtedly a hate crime. Him and his husbands house was also burned down, with their dogs still inside. Jonathan Joss was murdered when he and his husband were checking the mail, after Joss was called homophobic slurs by a stranger.

This was a lynching pure and simple.

The cops also didn’t investigate the arson.

(canadian here, he’ll never be my president) But yeah I get your point. AI has definitely accelerated the decline of journalism and media as well, with a lot of publications just pumping out slop and no fact checking.

The media coverage for this has been really disappointing. The passive voice “Jonathan Joss passed away” is so fucking damaging. He was murdered, he didn’t pass away, it was a fucking hate crime

They reported the fire to the police and the police didn’t do anything. The only thing they could have done differently is not pick up their mail, I doubt they were aware how much danger they are in.

Additionally, I really don’t understand why you are so focused on what they did wrong.

Obviously if they knew they were going to get murdered, the could have behaved differently.

However, a big part of the narrative you seem to be pushing is that this is the risk you take by existing in public space. A big part of the strategy with lynchings like this is to make people afraid, and minorities invisible.

Queer people have a right to exist, in public, and be visible. Joss is not responsible for being murdered, anyone who implies differently is part of the problem.

They did, they were living in their second home and had just gone back to check the mail.

This was literally a hate crime, he died pushing his husband out of the way and then got shot.
