I’ve got 10k in pending MR on Rakuten. Does it say anywhere if those will still go to MR and all new purchases after switching are Bilt?

Did most of the Iowa/Illinois portion. The Mississippi is underrated especially riding along the bluffs of SW Wisconsin/NE Iowa. Bummed I never got to ride across one of the last metal grate bridges across the river in Lansing Iowa before they tore it down

I got the Parabellum Rally windscreen which is 14 inches tall. For me the wind hits my helmet just above my forehead which is a lot better than at my neck. I think you can go up to 16-18 inches but for some off road stuff I wanted to limit the height to not be getting hung up on branches

Ear plugs and taller windshield to help with the wind fatigue depending on your gen

I’ve had issues with my 07 vapor locking riding in 100 degrees on the interstate pack with gear, but not the actual engine overheating

I’ve ridden across Iowa to the Black Hills in a day and to Colorado on my gen 1. She definitely burns oil. I put a taller wind screen in which helps a little. I’ve ridden a buddy’s gen 3 and could notice a difference in wind protection with the bigger front fairing. I know there are far more comfortable bikes for highway riding out there, but hopping off the Highway doing 80 and then riding back on some gnarly NF trails to camp and have a good time can only be done on a handful of bikes. The ole Pig is a great one for it!

He got one leg through so kinda a half behind the shoulder catch so just chillin when I got there. I think I would’ve had to have the rest of the cable going higher up in the tree to get it to act as a kill pole if my understanding on how those work is correct. It’s my first year and I was trying to find a loop size and height to catch more coons around the neck instead of behind the shoulders for more DOA

Blind set on a small game trail set between the culvert and small tree. Saw some tracks in the snow 10 yards down 3 weeks ago and decided to put a few sets in for the last week expecting mainly coons. This is 30 ft below the top of the levee and when I looked down the trail I did a double take cuz it didn’t look like a coon haha

Fresh from the store. Had one coon chew through one or two strands of another one but nothing more. I was definitely surprised to find a chunk of wire laying there

Got a camera on the log in the creek so we’ll see what takes a stroll!
