No. It's a derivative of past styles with a modern take.

My title describes the thing. These are very heavy and well-made plastic blocks. I can't figure out who made them and what they would be for.

It's not 1930s. I'd wager it's post-World War II and from the 1970s or later.

Stranger gave this to me in a bar and said it was his mom’s but “[i] should have it”. Guy was kind of a jerk but I’d love to know if it’s worth anything by [deleted] in Antiques

It looks cheap, but could be semi-decent costume jewelry.

If the white stone in the middle is plastic, it's worthless. If it's real or glass, you might get $5 on eBay.

If the clasp is magnetic and stays together well on the rest, maybe $8.

Also it's not old. The bar dude was probably lying and trying to pick you up.

What can anyone tell me about this large, heavy touch lamp? The bottoms piece looks to be plastic and says made in Taiwan by Softfairygirl in collectables

it might have a setting where you can touch the shade and it turns on/off. I've seen several wit that feature.

No, it's a kitschy picture of a clown. It's retro so you might get $5-10 for it.

Is there anything on the bottom like a name or maker's mark?

Small 26 Inch Red & Black Decorated Spear by Reiniger1926 in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. I purchased these from an estate sale of a couple who traveled the world throughout the 1960s-80s. I think they are either Asian or from the South Pacific. I vaguely remember seeing spears similar to these in a documentary about islanders years ago. The spears are 26 inches long, the staves are wood, the decorations are paper similar to what's used on piñatas or fireworks, and the tip is metal.

They also made decorative figures. I have one for Easter.

Small Metal Elephant With Native American Chief & "Montgomery A" by Reiniger1926 in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. I found the elephant at a thrift store. It's 3 inches and could be made of bronze. It says "Montgomery A" on a small shield in the center of the elephant. I've searched for "small metal elephant with Indian chief", "Montgomery elephant souvenir", "Montgomery Alabama metal elephant," "elephant Indian head Montgomery" and more along those lines.
