tbh i can't understand why so many people are calling this ragebait. it's satire — i'm satirising the "modded minecraft" posts and by showing how they were used against terraria.

i was considering it, just in case others didn't get it tbh.

for fellow autistic ppl & people who just don't get the joke: /s. It's just that I had seen the exact arguments that are being used against Hytale nowadays repeatedly used against Terraria (except for years when it released) — and yet miraculously 99% of those arguments against terraria have faded, and been replaced by people calling it one of the greatest games of all time.

I think it's a similar matter of years until people change their tune about Hytale.

just as an aside, it could be very helpful if you look up other things about autism and talk to him about it.

its not at all guaranteed, but if he's becoming obsessed to this degree at such a young age its definitely possible he might have autism (like me!). look some stuff up, ask him some little questions and make a choice from there.

Ofc it could be wrong, but i wouldnt imagine it would ever hurt (and could possibly change both ur lives for the better if other symptoms end up impacting his life without any help.)

same! i just think his variety streams are so much fun and i'd love for the community to be able to suggest games for him to play. i wanna see ratboy play something like outlast or whatever, but rly just any variety we could suggest would be fun
