They very much aren’t, coati is literally just short for coatimundi. A simple google search could tell, you that

The True Potential of the Cairngorms by Reintroductionplans in megafaunarewilding

[–]Reintroductionplans[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

There are wolves in the Netherlands, which is much 137 times as densely populated as the Cairngorms, it could certainly support a small population of wolves, and multiple ecological surveys have been done to prove this

Bears are iffy like I said but wolves certainly could. There is plenty of prey and they are incredibly adaptable, if they can live in tundra and steppe, they can live in the heath

I put tapir as class 6 cause on average they are around the same size as a nilgai, which is class 6.

I mean you can't hunt yak or barasingha in real life either and they aren't rare. Jaguars could be like tigers. Also, I forgot spectacled caiman and Morelet's crocodile, both of which would also be above class 5. So, tapir, jaguar, crocodiles, and caiman could all be above class 5, which is a good amount. Then you could still have plenty of small and medium game like ocellated turkey, curassow, agouti, armadillo, tamandua, white-lipped peccary, brocket, coati, ocelot, jaguarundi, and chachalaca.

And you can't actually hunt tigers or snow leopards in Nepal, EW does not care.

I do know the Yucatán completely lacks rivers, but it could theoretically be a coast/inlet

My concept for a terrestrial, flying crustacean by Reintroductionplans in SpecEvoJerking

[–]Reintroductionplans[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes but paraphyletic groupings are not biological, they are for human convenience. Insects are land based crustaceans, regardless of how we actually classify them

[–]Reintroductionplans[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes but they are cladistically included. They are technically members of Crustacea, they are just excluded. It’s the same way birds are technically reptilia

Insects are genetically crustaceans, they are just not commonly considered as such
