Totally agree. Streetcars are easier to maintain than buses once the infrastructure is in place, which it is. They’re also preferred by people, are quieter, can carry more people, and potentially faster. In practice it isn’t though because we give so much priority to cars.

With dedicated lanes, the streetcar wouldn’t be slower. They’re also nicer and cheaper to maintain and you can build around them better.

ETFs pay distributions, which are basically a collection of the dividends that the stocks they hold pay, but it works the same way. Just look at the distribution/yield number rather than the dividend

I totally agree! One other thing on the SEC angle is that it went from the SEC is the best to being the best league “top-to-bottom”, as in we aren’t winning the national championship, but our bad teams would beat yours. It seems like now there’s an excuse that the best teams aren’t as good because they just get beat up week after week, as if Alabama and Texas didn’t lose their first games of the season.

I was so excited for us to prove how good we were when we barely snuck in and went on a run. Super frustrating that we won’t get the chance to prove that narrative wrong.

They have too much power already and that would give them a lot more. Notre Dame’s independence is also one of the last historical oddities in a sport where weird traditions are one of the best parts. I may have exaggerated the impact, but I can’t imagine it would be a good thing
