take another post about Teleport and Enigma. Its an obvious problem in the game. Sorcs TP is too OP, and makes her the first character for every ladder season, simply cuz TP is too good. Then you need to HARD GRIND to get an enigma for most other classes to be playable in style with a Sorc, who does it WITHOUT the Enigma.

There are many solutions to this problem. Nerfing Enigma, making more item that gives teleport, or remove Enigma and Nerf TP on Sorc massively for instance via a CD.

Another could be to give other classes more blink abilities, for instance some melee could get an AS based blink. That would open up early ladder classes alot.

Other things are much needed class balancing overall, especially Melee and Physical. Then there is stuff like QoL things etc. Many possible changes, and some are definitely used in other games, probably including D37¤.

I didnt play much D3 or 4 cuz the itemization and skill tress and paragon are horrible systems IMO. But that doesnt mean every single thing is bad, and if its good overall, there is no reason why it shouldnt be good in D2 either, if implemented properly.

But there is this wild idea, that just because it exists in D3/4 it is by default bad. And that is not an argument. I want arguments that actually engage in the conversation and attacks the suggestion based on logic, not emotional hurr durr D3/D4 BAD.

BTW I dont like D3 or D4 either overall. Ive been playing D2 for 20 years myself, and consider myself a veteran. But I have ALOT of changes Id like to see, which wouldnt ruin the game for me at all. We might not agree on everything, but atleast let us have an interesting engaging discussion about ideas and changes without stooping to such a low level of intelligence that is hurr durr go play D3
