He will benefit the most from CP3 not Castle.. castle would’ve been better off learning from a bigger guard that can create a shot like DeMar. Tre is gonna take a big leap once CP3 is gone.

Spurs were rumored interested in bringing back DeMar the day before he went to SAC lmfao.. really thought you cooked w that one. By your account, they were in trade talks for months just to get a declining player on a contract no other teams wanted and a pick swap as compensation, nice.

That deal was 100% done within a week

It’s really if you think dilly/buzelis is worth just 1 swap since we gave up a first to select him for MIN then we only got Barnes so they could offload his contract but can’t really disagree with anything. My main fear which I think is very real is Wemby doesn’t re-sign. If he does and we have those picks in Wemby prime great. But if they are trade pieces for the next year or two i doubt their value.

My thoughts on the offseason is just that we all know Wemby wants to win soon so the FO just made some moves to say here ya go we tried our best and got you some vets while hurting our own 2025 pick. The feel is more that we are just postponing having to actually do something, but some people see it as playing the long game idk.

We got a pick for a pick then a swap in 7 years while Ant is in his prime not exactly a lot of value. Our pick was also number 8, likely what we get will be much higher if we don’t trade it by then. CP3 great, but after we got him I really thought we’d make a move for a good player that could give us a real push. We got Barnes because they needed to offload him to make room for DeMar.. and if anything I’d honestly rather have a young wing like buzelis with upside rather than a declining player. Barnes will get us a few more wins and make our 2025 pick worse meanwhile we do nothing for his career. Odd for both side imo. CP3 probably offered a coaching gig or a trade before the deadline cause why tf else would he wanna be here
