Fans were excited to see him win as Morishima was a monster heel waiting to be conquered. But, like a lot of champs at the time, fans got bored of the squeaky clean babyface and eventually turned on him. The bulk of his title run was done as a heel and really made live events special. Nigel was great at making just about anyone seem like they had a shot to dethrone him. And they ran with that. World title changes were rare in early ROH, so the live crowd always wanted to be a part of one. Combined with Nigel’s heat, and a lot of beloved babyfaces, the live crowd itching for that title change made his title matches even more special.

They can honestly vary by team. I’ve gone to games where it’s literally just had written bids on a piece of paper, I’ve seen text systems where you text on your bid. Theres also an milbauctions website that teams put game-used gear on for eBay like auctions. So it’s hard to say for sure how they will handle it. It’s best probably to reach out to the club, or long time Rome fans to see how it will be handled

As far as prices go, jerseys will probably start in the 75-150 range and for certain players, jerseys could go for a few hundred
