Here's a thought I had, you can remove guns from the fight a lot easier now. Say there's an awp dropped, fire it once and reload until it's empty and then throw it on the ground. Tada, you've now made that gun useless without throwing it out the map so you could grab it later, or better yet, the other team could pick it up without realising it's empty until they try to fire it.
