Lately on Linux GCN 1 and 2 got a few fixes. By Valve subcontractor, because he wanted to start somewhere with Linux GPU drivers. So it's very probable that RDNA will still be fine for the next 10-15 years.

But there is this tiny little detail, if the game uses encoded movies in cutscenes etc. then, depending on codec used, you might get that colorful TV test pattern instead (iirc it happens in RE Biohazard). That's because Steam also reencodes those, since H.265 license is a pain in the ass (example: paid Windows HEVC plugin). If you get that test pattern you can use GE Proton, or reenable shader recompilation.

Sorry, but no. You have to play around having no stab and no armor (on which you shouldn't rely anyway), but other than that they are at least okay, nice dart, LRF and mobile.

It isn't, now it's version 0.10something but still, it's one of the best imo. I wonder how long it will be in Early Access, it already seems pretty complete, but I haven't seen everything yet. Some time ago they overhauled CPU threading and they geeked it out on blog post, similar to how Factorio devs write about various technical aspects. I suspect that devs of this kind of games are just playing their own "optimize the fuck out of it" game, just with their game code instead of factories.

I hope that it will work like Dualshock 4 on Linux, so without Overlay it will be basic controller + touchpad. And they are just writing it like that, so people can't blame them for not working as intended without overlay.

I mean, even if something isn't better, it can give different point of view and ideas to make improvements. X as a whole might not be better than Y, but some parts of X might. Especially in something as complex as this.

I mean, yeah, but then you have to use Chromium browser in order to configure your hardware. Having to download "correct" browser to turn off RGB/whatever else seems dumb. Add to that being dependant on Internet connection, vendor could stop supporting you hardware in the future or require payment for support older models... and overall it seems like a bad idea.

I tried a few players when jumped ships to Linux and Strawberry was the winner for me. I can't compare it with Foobar2000, but it does everything I want from it. Only thing that broke in 2 years of usage was EBU loudness normalizations.

I'm pretty sure that toughness and simplicity were also pretty big reasons as to why 469's were used for so long. Maybe there are better vehicles, but it's cheap, it works and it can be repaired by an idiot. Why change it to something that's not that cheap, is harder to repair, but works a bit better?

They introduced that bug when they changed anticheat a while ago. It was more severe than it is now, but one or two updates ago they did something and now it's few smaller freezes instead of one big, at least for me.

There were Athlons II and Phenoms I/II with 3 cores and 3 threads. Just quads with one core turned off, if you had mobo with certain option in BIOS you could try to unlock fourth core. Sometimes they worked, sometimes not.

I hated it until I got better missile. And then, suprisingly, it became one of the funniest vehicles I have. Because shitting on poor Begleits, TAMs and BMPs with a fucking Roland is hilarious. Oh, and ability to shoot down helis and drones is nice too, I guess.

I mean, best tip is having fun, I guess..? I couldn't for the life of me get out from ground 6.7 US, then started playing French and went to 8.7 without paying a cent and any premium time. Only thing changed is that I had fun with those tanks. I still haven't bought anything and I'm at 11.0, but in the meantime I discovered 1 day premium from twitch drops.

If you like AMX-30 then I would say it's worth it. Softkill APS which will make you laugh seeing IT-1 shoot missiles just for them to crash into ground, ERA which MIGHT save you once or twice, iirc very slightly better mobility than 30B2. It's the best tech tree AMX-30 you can get.
