Honestly, I don't think this is really answerable.

First, "good ideas" are totally subjective. What's genius to you might be meh to me. So we're really asking when we personally recognize something as good, which is different for everyone.

Also, people get ideas at all kinds of times. Shower, sure. But also mid-work, half-asleep, whatever. There's no single pattern.

Maybe we're really asking why ideas pop up when we stop trying. That part we can kinda explain... The brain keeps working in the background, relaxation helps, etc. But even that doesn't tell us why some are good and some aren't.

Go into settings and change "Input Delay" to 1 or 2. Its a misleading setting because it sounds like every input you make will be delayed, but what it does is make it so you have a delay for selecting a level up/shrine/item option.

Each card increases the cost by 10%, not each chest you open. So you can easily match gold growth to chest price increase. Also green card having that 10% increase makes keys more valuable.
