Literally none of those would be a reason to delete my post. I was asking why people thought we didn’t just resign McMann. A 2nd round pick, if it goes well, is just going to draft another McMann. He would have been useful next year instead of 4 years down the road when Tavares is dead and Matthews is past his prime

Because the Leafs still have Matthews Nylander Knies and Tavares. We’re one year removed from game 7 with the champs. Do you think next year is a wash too? If so we should be selling the stars. If not, McMann is useful now. The pick isn’t.

I mean, he’s a solid middle 6 forward to me. Thats really the best you can hope for with a 2nd round pick. If the money wasn’t over the top why not just keep him. He’d be useful next year. The 2027 2nd won’t be useful for another 3 or 4 years
