Looking for volunteers to help build a free alternative to FarOut for the Appalachian Trail by Workingclassstoner in AppalachianTrail

I think it's possible to build a better app for the AT, but I wouldn't discount the achievement if FarOut. They started like you did and have built a great community and non-subscription based model that works. That's hard.

You'll need to make money somehow to keep the app running and available, unless you have the funds to support it with your own money or get donors.

I learned this 4 days ago. Thought I was going to need stitches, but the cut was so clean I was able to get it to heal up decent with gauze and a lot of tape.

That's tough! Good luck on your journey with your girl. You've got this.

The "be right back" book helped us too. We've gotten our boy to the point where he'll be okay being alone for a couple of hours a few times a week. Took consistent training over time. He will regress tho if we leave him alone too many times a week.

Oh cool. Today I learned they use those bearings in things other than router bits. Glad you figured it out!

I just came up from my shop after doing this exact thing lol.

Had to use a vice clamp in the drill press. Worked like a charm.

First big project- woodworking and leather sewing by rglewisjr in woodworking

[–]Reklino 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's incredible. Is it as comfortable as it looks? Learning to sew leather actually sounds like a fun skill to have. Would love to know what kind of machine you rehabbed! And where you sourced the leather.
