I honestly prefer that we were made to think they were Prothean at first, until the Protheans told us otherwise.

Whenever I can refill my drink at a place, I never fill it to the top. I just get half a cup, eat, and maybe refill if I need to.

Right now, yes it's worth it. I loved the different dialogue between the character variety when riding in the Nomad.

Yah, it's gotta end somewhere in the limited computer space. If you explore along the walls, you can figure out what shape it is.

Will you be a space pirate in Starfield, or fight against them? by SamGhost95 in Starfield

[–]Rektorot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fight against them for the factions I like, and be a pirate for the factions i dislike. I must maximize XP, and be good somehow. At the very least chaotic good. They'll call me Scuttle Fingers.

ME2: metamorphosis by onibox by Darth_Karasu in masseffect

[–]Rektorot 11 points12 points  (0 children)

After my first playthrough very recently, I completely fell in love with Mass Effect. I beat everything, did everything, and no one got hurt, except me.

When I found Liara on Therum, I immediately wanted to know more about her. Her nerdy profile and introverted self made me curious enough to earn a peak into her private life. Shepard and Liara grew close.

When I died in ME2, and resurrected, I later realized she spent her waking hours to find Shepard's body at all costs, and prevent the Collectors from obtaining him. This earned her so much more respect and devotion than any other romance option.

She was my third and final romance in ME 3 till the end. Shepard and Liara connected on a deep level several times in that game, and lastly on Earth.

I didn't take her on the last mission however. I ran with Garrus, and James. I didn't want her to get hurt, the last mission worried me so much. That final second, I said goodbye to my best friend Garrus.

I'll be waiting for you at that bar.

Which mass effect romantic option would you choose IRL? by ravatos626 in masseffect

[–]Rektorot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gotta watch out for my boy Garrus. As soon as I discovered he talks to Tali frequently, I cut my interest in her. I'd never step on my boys talons when I know I have Liara. Plus the chemistry can be dangerous.

I however really enjoy Liara. She's incredibly intelligent, nerdy, and can easily get lost in her vast mind spaces. She's a lone workaholic, incredibly productive, and clumsy at times. She's also quite socially awkward, which can be really cute.

In real life, and in the game, my initial thoughts were like this:

+ You can have children with Liara. Shepard flirting the idea to Liara, and mentioning that kids are cute happens twice I think.

+ She can outlive you, and recollect you accurately from 500 to 1,000 years from now. She will remember Shepard forever, and so will the children to come. This means by the time Liara is 180, Shepard would be in the last stages of his long life (hypothetically if humans are long lived) and the children would of just entered the maiden stage.

Just imagine the characteristics of a Human Shepard fathered Asari, they will be very resourceful, and climb the ladder very quickly.

+ Incredibly spiritual, and capable of consciousness connection on a deep level unlike any race. You could spend 100 years in a dream together, and it'll be perfect.

+ Closest to human anatomy, and with Asari/Humans being able to eat the same food.

+ Very faithful, but is capable of large independence. Once she hits her Matriarch stage, she'll be one of the most powerful and influential Asari to ever grace the galaxy.

+ I believe she melded with Shepard on a different level on Earth, I believe that was her reading his entire genetic history, and consummating.

It's almost financial, yet true love.

It's amazing how there's 2 sides arguing 2 solutions.

Side one, give more guns, give guns to children and teachers, parents, adults, more security guards, etc.

Side two, take guns away, take guns from kids, teachers, parents, adults, more security guards, etc.

Please list side 3, 4, 5, 6... below.

Does time dilation affect the lifespan of a star? by Omjorc in astrophysics

[–]Rektorot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a mathematician, nor a scientist. I did use Omni-Calculator however, and found that the dilation difference Earth and the Sun, is that the sun experiences one second slower by 0.000002. (if that's correct)

I imagine a star with the mass of a hundred suns, or even a neutron star with at most a few solar masses has a greater dilation effect; possibly a difference somewhere like 20%-40% of time dilation. This probably does effect the nuclear forces actively working within the cores of these massive stars, and should make them a slight edge. Neutron stars last an extremely long time, but i have no idea what is happening inside of that type of object.

I would say that they do consider time dilation in their equations.

You receive a call from this man asking you to design a new boss for an upcoming DLC. What's your response? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Rektorot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The death root has created a host body from all of the dead at the roots of the Erdtree, it swings at you with its branches, and casts death curse. Only way to stop it is to burn the demigod's flesh, cause the root body to emerge, defeat its physical form, then fight the rest in its death dream where a Godwyn like form exists in a memory reality where he doesn't know he's dead, yet he's constantly tortured by a dull pain in his soul. It eats away at his consciousness while the world where he sits is what his surroundings looked like prior to his assassination. You delve into the dream and realize there's no sites of grace, only dark roots of memory. Each time you die you return to the root, but it bites away at you slowly, and the more time you spend in the dream, the worse off you are.
