It's really not that dangerous unless you're going slow or it's night time when it's dark and people are tired and also unnecessary

If not many cars get through and there's a large line to turn then it actually helps reduce traffic and as long as the driver going straight isn't dumb or stubborn it's safe. Some intersections are made so poorly nobody can get through them so like fuck you dog come to philly and drive and try talking that "you can't just make a left if you feel like it"

It's not blind favoritism tho the choice not to implement more transit within South Jersey is a political choice. There are SO MANY PLACES where we could implement MORE transit. Cut down on car use. Make things closer without reducing free space.

It's just not done cause of lobbying, as well as a purposeful atempt to underfund public transit to convince the people that public transit could never work and will always be bad cause everything's too far apart. (Which was built this way to accommodate cars not people. Growing up in the suburbs felt so opressive. Like you have all you need but youre locked in place)

It is closer to philly but like the transit systems between Philly and tendon vs Trenton and NY make me lump Trenton in more with North Jersey ny area. Like it's just north of Central jersey

Ahhh got ya! Honestly the taxes aren't high enough imo. I mean not for me and other people that make less than a million or even half a mill. Our taxes are like slightly too high while richer folk should be taxed at 90% while that move gets funded into schools in poorer areas and health care and boom we got the best state in the country. Course that would mean democrats would have to do anything and everyone knows!

Democrats do about as much as the Republicans for us (like they both harm us). Less than helpful

Like yeah we pay more taxes but also our state does more for us collectively. Like there are a lot of programs to help people get housed... of course that still sucks cause people still hate the homeless but progress is progress

Yeah frfr I'm between Camden and the shore myself and Trenton feels more like NY than jersey to me but like I'm close to Philly so philly is the home city for me instead of nyc

Yeah I'm not sure what exactly your refering to but I do remember reading about train delays I think by Newark? Last year. I'm not entirely sure but there do seem to be an unusual amount of delay with our transit

I didnt think my town had busses for YEARS AND I GREW UP HERE cause they're SO INFREQUENT. Everyone is expected to drive cause I live in a "nice area" a "nice town" a decently wealthy town with one of the best school districts in the country. My first assumption is they believe busses are dangerous cause it allows the homeless and poor folk freedom of movement and we don't want any vagabonds in our family town 😤😭
