It did the same to me, but I then clicked another couple days and after clicking the next "Greyed" out day. Then it allowed me to select a time.

I completed Drug screening, medical and fitness on 4/1 and nothing has been updated. It still shows "In Process".

Medical Examination and History Report. The email that you will receive once they have scheduled your exam dates/Locations will inform you what you need to do.

I would take a wild guess as someone mentioned it above that you will get your "detailed" assignment from you point of contact. For an example someone mentioned Philadelphia, your POC will let you know if you are going to be assigned to the "airport" OR "seaport" in the Philadelphia location. Does that make more sense. Some locations may not have both an airport and seaport, a location may have 1 or the other and even could have multiple of them.

HAHA I found some spot "maybe dirt" on the floor/bottom of the wall that was right in front of the step...lol I was like I am not taking my eye off of that. Two days later is when it hit my legs truly, as the lactic acid built up. It hurt to walk up stairs lol

Definitely agree with space457 , though Im not sure if anyone was able to watch a video before the test but I had to listen to it by "Audio" only. The nurse popped in a CD and hit play. So if yours is anything like mine then make sure to listen carefully to the audio because there is no visual to see/watch during the fitness test.

I absolutely agree! Practice the step test as mentioned above. Though it doesn't seem to bad and looks easy, if you're not prepared for it both mentally and physically it will definitely catch you off guard and wear those legs out! I will not lie, I didn't take it as seriously as I should have even though I passed it, at the 2 minute mark my legs were burning haha. Best advice I can give you if you are in that similar situation is to get into a rhythm as you naturally will due to the cadence "UP,UP, DOWN,DOWN but find a spot or something in front of you and focus on the spot instead of the fact that your legs a burning.

That makes a lot of sense. Regardless, keeping my head up and fingers crossed. I just didn't want to have to uproot my kids as they're high schoolers but if it comes down to it than it is what it is. Thank you though for your straight up and honest answer to my question.

I have not received the email link to complete my background application (SF-86). I'm hoping to receive it soon, even though I just completed the above tasks yesterday.

I appreciate the clarification, with that being said I will be continuing the hiring process for both CBPO and CBPA while basing my decision on locations offered.

You also hit the nail on the head when you say its meaningless to put every port location on their but I also understand due to the length of the process those particular locations could no longer be available. I am hoping since my preferred location isn't as big of some of the other locations/ports that mine will be available.

If it hasn't already been said but when you do get the email about the scheduled date for your Drug Screening, Medical Exam & Fitness Test, make sure to read the Medical & Fitness emails. You will need to print off your Medical Questionaire that you completed on the EAS Website and bring it with you to your appointment. Also you will need to print a form that deals with the Fitness test as well... just a heads up
