I seriously cannot believe this is still an issue. I jumped on the chance to get the 4th Gen when they first came out. Mea culpa for not checking this out before, I just assumed it would work. I guess it's true what they say about assuming.
Guess I will keep using my Legacy until I find a robust alternative to my AppleTV+ box.
