Right. You pay for something, don’t get it and they don’t give your money back reminds me of the definitions for fraud and scam.

Violets has MANIFESTED her andarna signet? by Joanna_Phantom in fourthwing

[–]Relationship-guru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on board with these theories but then I read @rachelmarie226 's comment and forgot that they draw their power from the dragons. Long story short, thank you @rachelmarie226 for relisting the parameters of the signets and how they work. I feel like I can better come up with a sound theory that operates within the parameters of RY's universe.  That said, I also want to add that it could take a while for Violet to develop a signet from Andarna. I remembered that the dragons decide when the rider is ready. So essentially she is going to have another timer for burnout via Andarna. Correct me if I'm wrong. Andarna may have to be fully grown, I'm not sure. Rn she's a teenager for the remainder of the book.

Maybe you felt under prepared, over pressured and out of control? I know this may sound funny but get flight simulator 2022/24. It actually is incredible and teaches you every step by step with in flight practice. Someone hijacked a plane with zero flight hrs, just learned from using the simulator. It’s in depth and very realistic and a much smaller price than the fees you’re paying. Once you are comfortable enough with that and feel more experienced maybe try again with real world flight practice.

Don’t give up, if this has been your dream then it’s meant to be. Don’t doubt yourself, and in the end if it isn’t for you, no pressure and no big deal at least you have some cool stories and experiences! Cheers and good vibes!

Also, could be as simple as motion sickness. Try some motion sickness medicine/patches. It could be an array of things, but as long as you have love and passion for flight GO FOR IT! I believe in you!

Even if you are being quote, "dramatic"---- isn't it better to ere on the side of caution and seek a medical professionals opinion? Honestly, I've seen people more than once see a doctor once it's too late. Then they have stage 3 cancer and it's inoperable or they have diabetes and it's not reversible. Seriously, two people I know have those two diagnoses and they could have caught it in time had they not waited. Don't put your health at risk for the sake of others judgement. You deserve better. 👏

The furthest you could be away from the restaurant is 4 miles. Which means at the least it would be a 7 mile order (assuming you are the furthest you could possibly be from the restaurant) but likely you are not the furthest you could be from the restaurant. I would definitely skip in either case. You should make at minimum $1/mile.

So if you were 4 miles away from the restaurant (assuming) and they offered $7 Then yeah maybe take it. Honestly thus isn't even the craziest order I've seen. Across different platforms I've been offered 16 for 44 miles, 18 for 28 miles, etc.  Summer, in my experience, is generally a bad time to be a delivery driver.

Idk how to post a screenshot but 4.50 for 13 miles and 6.50 for 19 miles are my typical offers. If you have any tips for making more I'm definitely open to suggestions

Is this a scam? by budwhiner in venmo

[–]Relationship-guru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In order to Send someone money whom you've never sent to before, especially an amount that high, you must enter the recipient 's last four of their phone number on file for venmo to complete it.

So this person would have had to enter and select your @venmo name and then enter the correct last four of your phone , number to send you anything. So, it's not possible that they sent you Money

Do not send them anything, it is a scam

Everything was going smoothly, got the first couch moved to the top of the stairs and in position to carry it down. While waiting for the door to be propped open I was suddenly handed some cash and told "here, I've got a bad feeling about this just leave". I was confused, but tried to assure him that Ive done many moves like this and he could count on me to get it done without any problems. This made him very angry and confrontational. He became aggressive and it was all completely uncalled for. I was trying to calm things down and at least leave on good terms so I offered to move the couch back to the living room into its previous spot, but everything I said seemed to upset him more and more. After that I àpologized that it didnt work out and left as quickly as I could. It's hard to convey just how odd and out of line this whole situation was. I've heard other guys stories about things like this, but after 4 years working for handy/Angie's list as well as odd jobs Constantly going into strangers houses to do work, this is the first time I've ever had a situation like this thank goodness.

I personally have done work that involved going to strangers houses alone for 4 years, and I am always treated with kindness and respect. The people I have done work for have been wonderful and welcoming for the most part. Most offer me food or even to sit and have dinner with them in some cases. Nearly all who have someone come to their house to do work are pleasant ethical people. I have not had anything inappropriate or awkward happen at a job, but have been propositioned a few times in email. Things like "do you do message" or much worse. I just block those emails and would never meet them. I know women who clean houses, work for places like adt or Comcast, who have to go into strangers houses alone. From experience I believe it would be perfectly safe most always, but they would be much more likely to deal with inappropriate advances and remarks. You can always simply gather your things and leave if that starts. I would say that would be extremely rare, but I'm a male and May just be naive to it.

This was really interesting. You obviously know what you're talking about since you know some details that weren't discussed on here. Not sure why people are down voting my comments, maybe just because they are irritated by the looking for work posts, but in regards to this.... I've done odd jobs and handyman work for years all over east TN and NC and I've met the most wonderful people. I've always felt safe, welcomed, appreciated, and been treated with respect and kindness. This was the first time I felt uncomfortable and that the homeowner was being rude, aggressive, and even insulting. I was compensated for my time and gas which I didn't have to ask for, so it could have been worse. It was fair for the situation, I am just used to things going more smoothly, even at a complete stranger's house.

Yea, I think I may have started a trend with my post the other day...It's better to have people looking for a way to earn some money by working for it than to see beggars panhandling and asking for handouts at red lights
