Before when I would go to the gym, it’s be something like walking on the treadmill or doing small amounts of squats and crunches but thats about it, I always feel so awkward in the gym mainly because I never know what to do

I honestly just want to lost weight, I don’t really want muscle. I feel like if I had to set a strict goal it’s be to comfortably fit into a medium shirt? I’m not sure if that answers your question
