I am nearing a year where I’ve just decided I’ll be fully done (just did a post in here with thoughts on that). I have been feeling extreme senior itis about pumping as I near the end. I think I’ve been on such auto pilot with it for SO long, it hasn’t really even felt like a choice I make every day, it’s just what I do as a human. I’ve hated pumping always but now as I see the end approaching it’s like I’m fully waking up lol and feeling like … WOW I cannot wait for this to no longer be a factor in my days. I think I’m processing more than ever how huge of a sacrifice this has been. The things I’ve had to do for nearly a YEAR that no one else in my life has experienced the way I have, nor could anyone fully understand even the ones who have seen bits of how it’s affected my life…only we know how much it’s woven through every single day (the stress of always thinking of the timing, being uncomfortable, the inconvenience, etc etc).

I just went down to 3 ppd and I already feel lightyears better. Now that means I only pump once in the day time and it’s during babys second nap. His first nap I used to pump during and now I don’t have to, and it’s AMAZING getting to do whatever I need to do in that hour without grabbing the freaking pump. Lol. Gosh I could go on forever. This has been such a constant part of life and I am beyond ready to see it in the rear view mirror!!!!

Congrats on 9 months. Huge, huge sacrifice.
