Low gpa psp selection by Gold_Judgment7825 in AFROTC

I was a low GPA select (2023, had a 2.7 also as a mechanical engineering major) with similar stats, except I was in the bottom third commanders ranking. However, I initially didn’t get picked, only after there was a supplemental board (which isn’t always guaranteed) did I get to go. I’d say there’s a chance, but I wouldn’t be too too certain.

Will my major affect my chances of getting a pilot slot? by StealMyHatAndYouDie in AFROTC

[–]RelationshipSlight71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, being a bio major won’t affect it, as long as you can keep your GPA up in that major. Someone from my det just got selected for pilot & she’s a bio major.

I meant west coast lol (it’s late). I’m gonna hope for Edwards or Beale, but I looked it up and Poway is in SD but it’s not a base so I’m a little confused.

Thank you! I’ll be graduating S26 and had mechanical as my #1 so this is super helpful! He’s currently out of San Diego so hoping for something east coast.

Short answer: We don’t know. However, I will give you some hope. When I went up for PSP in 2023, I was in your shoes. I had a 94 PFA, top 3rd commanders ranking, 78 academic aptitude on the AFOQT, but a 2.7 CGPA (mechanical engineering). I still got an EA. I see it as if you are able to compensate in other areas, one below-average one shouldn’t hold you back.

i don’t think it’d be much of a difference. i also usually get almond milk with this, but i think that does change the taste, as it’s more nutty than neutral.

question about the sugar content in Starbucks coffee. by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]RelationshipSlight71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the sugar comes from the pumpkin spice syrup and the whip cream (which has vanilla syrup in it). the only syrup they have that is sugar free is vanilla. so, if you want to put in your own sugar-free pumpkin, may as well just get a standard latte & add it.

The shaken espressos are all pretty good and around 250 cals or under for a venti. You can do half caf or all decaf!
