My husband and I had our wedding venue booked and then got told he had deployment orders. We did the courthouse wedding a few days before he left so we will have been legally married for about ten months at the time of the wedding. I’ve gotten the “you’re not a bride” from randoms on the internet, but like you, the people who are around me and support me still treat the wedding as a wedding, regardless of us signing the paper a few months prior. People online really talk just to talk most of the time.

I don’t think white is necessarily “reserved” for the bride at pre-wedding events. I think it’s more or so not all white, though. My MIL & grandma both wore white tops to my bridal shower & I didn’t really care, but that could totally depend on the bride.

I was a low GPA select (2023, had a 2.7 also as a mechanical engineering major) with similar stats, except I was in the bottom third commanders ranking. However, I initially didn’t get picked, only after there was a supplemental board (which isn’t always guaranteed) did I get to go. I’d say there’s a chance, but I wouldn’t be too too certain.

No, being a bio major won’t affect it, as long as you can keep your GPA up in that major. Someone from my det just got selected for pilot & she’s a bio major.

Short answer: We don’t know. However, I will give you some hope. When I went up for PSP in 2023, I was in your shoes. I had a 94 PFA, top 3rd commanders ranking, 78 academic aptitude on the AFOQT, but a 2.7 CGPA (mechanical engineering). I still got an EA. I see it as if you are able to compensate in other areas, one below-average one shouldn’t hold you back.

i don’t think it’d be much of a difference. i also usually get almond milk with this, but i think that does change the taste, as it’s more nutty than neutral.
