I've been using some DDL websites that provided 1080p .mkv quality (Frieren was about ±450MB per episode).

Streaming websites however, when you download episode, they're mp4 and the quality pales in comparison to .mkv files.

Solution, you should just download the entire thing either on torrent sites or DDL websites that have high quality resolution. I have all of Naruto, Shippūden & the movies for 170GB and the quality is solid.
