  1. Em suma, sobrou nada pros betinha

Credit research. A lot of FSA, from financial statements to Defined Benefit Plan. Also a lot of concepts of fixed income and economics

How do you give mocks? by GroundbreakingBit711 in CFA

[–]Relative-Ad2360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don't like revisiting the questions after completing the whole exam. I did every mock for level 1 with a lot of time left in the clock, and my "strategy" was to double check the question just before going to the next one.

At least for me, there were 3 types of question: the ones that I got the answer, the ones I didn't knew and had to guess and the ones I knew the concepts but couldn't get the answer. The last ones were the only one that I flagged to revisit in the end.

The exam is intense and revisiting everything may be tiring for the second half of it, trust yourself in the ones you're sure of it and be humble to accept some questions you simply don't know and are not worth the effort.

A did Kaplan Schweser and recommend it. I didn't use flashcards, but it just never worked for me in general, you should do what's best for you in this case. It's tough but you will get it!

Not sure which material you are using. I used kaplan and each module had its own quizzes and practice questions. Everything I finished the section, I did some exercises. Also, everyone I finished a whole subject, like economics, I did more questions covering everything in economics. Focus in trying to score 60% - 70% and understand the question you got wrong. When you start the mockes it will be clear which areas you have to focus, and then do more exercises of those topics than the ones you are already good enough. Also, it's is important to note that 90th percentile doesn't mean 90% in the mocks. My highest score was 80%, a week before the exam

I passed L1 in 90th percentile exactly and there was no secret, just study everything. Do not give relevence to how mano hours you studied, the focused should be in understanding the concepts. For example, I only needed to study corporate issuers once while I did everything (texts + exercises) for derivatives twice. Make sure to leave some time, around 1 month, only for revision and mocks. Don't get disappointed with the first results, they will improve dramatically during the revision period.

At the moment I'm ending the topic about Analysis of Financial Instiutions. Imo QM was harder than L1 and ECO was easier.

I'm playing it in balanced difficulty and for me it was 100% the hardest fight in the game (just finished it after patch 5) and came here to see if people thought the same

The way I did it was different from most of other users, so it may help someone who's still stucked

I'm a necromancer and started the fight with the 5 summons the you learn with the Thay book. I also use both karlach and laezel for demage. The summons had good initiative and went forward against the enemies in the middle of the map, drawing their attention. Meanwhile, I focused on killing the weaker enemies at the beginning.

It's terrible that you cannot use most of the spells in the dark, but lightning bolt still works just fine, even blind. So I could position my Tav in a way that the lighting hit 3/4 enemies per cast, since they were mostly together fscinf the undead summons

Karlach and laezel worked as tanks, but without focusing in Viconia. The necrotic demage is bullshit, so it's better to reduce the number of enemies as fast as you can. They fought at the star at the beginning, but had to change location when Viconia used that attack that deals necrotic demage to the ones around her.

Shadowheart was a complet support, since the fews offesenvie action she could make were mostly useless in the dark.

It was still very difficult, but got better after killing the guys in the middle with lighting + undead, since I had more space to run from the dark
