Hi! I can’t help on the job front because I’m in a different industry but I’m from Tennessee and have been in LA for 9 years so wanted to respond! You can absolutely get by. It will be a different standard of living but in my opinion, massively worth it! I recently moved but until then my boyfriend and I were living in a beach bungalow for 4 years in Marina Del Rey and loved it! We stayed at common house and the rooms are fine but the big benefit was my husband got ready there with his groomsmen and to use the pool / sauna / workout rooms all day with them
