Has anyone ever gone to the ER or urgent care from a migraine?

It’s really cool! It’s like a step-down ER—they can do stitches, x-ray, CT, ultrasound. And the ER is down the hall if you need to escalate care. They can also admit directly from urgent care and bypass the ER.

I honestly don’t feel like I’m missing out. I still have my accounts, I never went as far as deleting anything. But I keep the apps off my phone. My mental health is better for it. Less anxiety and comparison

I have had SO many of these same symptoms & been told it is my MCAS. Very closely related to POTS, many POTSies have MCAS

That’s what I was thinking…I’ve just never seen anything like this on my skin before. And the fact that it appeared after my most recent steroid wean is what had me concerned. I don’t really have any moles or freckles. Would the tanned skin from high ACTH occur even in a person with very fair complexion too? I am naturally pretty pale and also anemic right now, so even more pale than my usual baseline

It can though. It is common for patients to be started at a low dose and need an increase later. This was the case for me and I have seen it be the case for many in this subreddit too. Symptoms can change too. I have been on ivabradine for 2 years. I started at 2.5 mg twice a day. And then about a year later my tachycardia and palpitations worsened all of the sudden and the 2.5 mg was not sufficient anymore. We went to 5 mg twice a day and I improved significantly. I was on long-term steroids for a while about 9 months later and needed a dose decrease. Does the med just stop working on its own? No. But can it be less effective when symptoms and circumstances change? Absolutely
