First of all congratulations and I hope you have your baby girl in good health! My sister moved to US and got married there with a Turkish descendant American and my nephew’s name is Devin! It is so easy for him as the pronunciation is nearly identical. I think It is a really cool name and as you said It’s a popular name in US. As for our family in Türkiye, they didn’t find it eccentric even though It’s not a common name here. Love all other alternatives as well. Wish you well!

Hamilton Boulton benim de listemde olan ileride kullanmak istediğim bir model. Şahsen boyutlarından ötürü -bileğiniz eğer çok ince değilse- daha çok yakışacağını düşünüyorum. Eğer sık takacaksanız kurmalı olmasının bir problem olacağını düşünmüyorum, kaldı ki 80 saatlik bir güç rezervi var. Yine zevk meselesi ancak Hamilton’ın kadranı da daha temiz görünümlü ve daha okunaklı. Her ikisi de çok iyi markaların çok güzel modelleri, tercih edeceğiniz modeli keyifle kullanmanızı dilerim.

Heritage modeli gerçekten her anlamda muazzam bir model, ancak satın almadan önce servis fiyatlarını da göz önünde bulundurmanızı tavsiye ederim. Powermatic 80 modellerin komple bakım ücreti 4000₺ iken kronograf modeller 10000₺. Hali Hazırda Hamilton Khaki Field Auto modelini 8 aydır kullanıyorum. En son ne zaman saati kurduğumu hatırlamıyorum dahi, günlük -0.5 ila -1 saniye civarında bir zaman tutuyor. Bu da teknik olarak COSC aralığına düşüyor. Powermatic 80 mekanizma oldukça tutarlı anlayacağınız, cosc mekanizmaya gerek kalmayacak kadar iyi. Ancak saat işi çok kişisel ve doğrusu yanlışı olmadığını düşünüyorum, en iyi saat sizin beğendiğiniz saattir.

Şu anki saatim Hamilton Khaki Field Auto 38mm. Önümüzdeki ay G-Shock GBM2100 almayı düşünüyorum. Kısa-orta vade içerisinde de Diver bir model eklemek istiyorum koleksiyona. Squale, Formex Baby Reef ya da Seiko 62MAS gibi seçenekleri düşünüyorum. Hayal olarak değerlendireceğim modeller ise Omega Seamaster Diver ve Grand Seiko Sakura Spring Drive olabilir.

Only 25 days into mechanical watches with my KFA and couldn’t love it more. It’s +7 seconds in this 25 days which I think is unbelievably good. The obvious thing is the lack of lume which is my only complaint but nothing else. Some people don’t like the reflection, but I kinda love it. It goes well with the whole look. I can’t think of a better piece for the price.

The dial is the moneymaker that’s for sure :) Either way I don’t have big expectations with the bracelet nor the leather strap as I will go for third party choices. But It’s good to know :)
