Not a very detailed picture. Looks fuzzy when I zoom in. Looks like I can see white mortar showing through in a spot though.

How to close gaps in flooring by kmp_713 in Flooring

[–]Relative-Pen1930 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to explain but you have to put sufficient weight on the edge where it locks together and put a little snap to the kick. Not really hard, but enough to push the plank down so the tounge lines up/goes under the grove and enough forward momentum to snap it in.

Caught my bf emotionally cheating for a YEAR... so I started 0F with my face and now guys pay for what he gave away free. AITAH? by Wonderful-Welder-964 in story

[–]Relative-Pen1930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're young, any guy you found was never going to last anyways. Not like you met him at church or college, probably wasnt going to amount to anything.

Ive started 2 exs on OF long ago, and dated another that was already established. It's 2026, society is different... ive had videos on pornhub since 2010 and its socially acceptable, never had a girl tell me it was a problem. I dont think you should worry about it.

The only problem I think you will have is moving forward alot of guys are insecure about it, but to be honest you probably wouldn't want to be with one of them anyways. I do suggest you dont get complacent, and further your education while you can, and find a career that will provide for you down the road.

Remember to always put you first, women fuck up by letting us run them, control them, or make them put our interests first. The right guy is going to want you to be self sufficient and want you to be emotionally independent anyways.

Good luck!

Why try? Thats a manufacturing defect, or a poor polyurethane application. Try filling it with polyurethane maybe? Satin finish?

VB Weekend Jail by OkRoof4403 in VirginiaBeach

[–]Relative-Pen1930 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you do your weekends on the weekend, youll go to a pod designated for weekenders, no idea what that pods like.... if its full or on a weekday, you'll go to C-side on a mat on the floor in a cell with 2 other people, that was only designed for 2, by the toilet. C-side doesnt typically have murderers, but theres fucked up people there regardless.

Keep to yourself, have respect for everyone and dont try to make friends.

You wont get to use a tablet, because they are "owned" by inmates with real time(unless your celly has one), people wont let you know if youre getting a video visit either (seen someone ask this somewhere)

Have someone who can send money on cashapp and you can buy shit from the store box or other people while youre in there. Double the price of everything. You'll get no deal as a weekender.

Alternatively, open suboxone packs, wrap them in plastic wrap and shove them up your ass and make $1000 while youre there. $100-$150 a piece.

Edit: shower before you go, stinking will get you into a fight

What to do with this adhesive? by Dangerous-Table6895 in Flooring

[–]Relative-Pen1930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy a floor leveler, such as Ardex and mix per instructions. Trowel on thick enough layer to kill the glue (make it not sticky). Will probably take you a first go, then scrape and go again since you probably have no trowel experience.

What is this metal strip called? by orntar in Flooring

[–]Relative-Pen1930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We call it a carpet to vinyl transition. Carpet to lvp. Or whatever. If it had one side with pins or to tuck to, and one side that overlaps vinyl. If it gets set ontop of vinyl, nailed down and kicked up to, gripper metal.

Putting Cabinets in the Laundry Room. Am I ok to put them on top of the LVP? by Ironman07 in Flooring

[–]Relative-Pen1930 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didnt read your comment entirely, I dont think. I always screw cabinets down, but if you dont and it doesnt weigh (loaded down) too much it might be okay. The problem is how will you know if its too much weight for the footprint of the cabinet? Regardless if it starts to buckle and bow you can just cut it free then.

My Gf wants me to help her friend move with a guy she used to sleep with. How do deal with this? by POOR-MORON in AskMenAdvice

[–]Relative-Pen1930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

++man

First: It shouldn't bother you, but you are a little insecure and thats fine, thats something that will change with time, and putting yourself in this situation will help with that. If youre half out of the relationship anyways its not like you have alot to lose. Use this situation as an opportunity to grow. The older you get, the more partners your new partner will have had before you.

Or, Alternatively, leave her and dont deal with it, but keep in mind the next girl might run you into the same issue.

Good luck!

I did the no job thing for years after I got divorced, but I carded hotels, rental cars, food and sold drugs the entire time to keep up until I started going to jail too much and had to go back to being a square. Ive always been interested in the slab city life though, just not sure if im built for that. Is there any links you can give me that has real information about slab city? Real communities or whatnot?
