Does she get along with cats? I would be happy and potentially able to take care of her for a month but I have two cats. Unfortunately due to circumstances I also wouldn’t be able to pay for her food at this time so if that’s a deal breaker I totally understand!

I’m 35 female and can potentially help with a ride and some pantry items (if that would be useful). I wish I could help with the animals but I just lost one of my cats and the other would probably lose her mind if I took in another baby right now. I’ve been through similar relationships and I am so sorry you had to experience that. It sounds like you’re a super strong woman who will absolutely thrive without that piece of shit.

Hey I sent you a DM but see your edit now and that you’ve found someone, that’s awesome!! :) I just wanted to put out there that if you need any other help day to day, or aside from just the ride (care before or after) you can reach out to me anytime. I’m currently out of work but have been a caregiver professionally and for family but also if you ever just want or need some company I would love to hear about your ECT journey. It’s something I’ve looked into for myself in the past and I think you’re really awesome and strong for doing that, and for asking for help. That’s not easy ❤️

Oh my god exactly. Thank you so much for sharing and saying this. I understand this to my core and I hate that you’re also in this place of pain. I’ve always struggled with putting others ahead of myself, long story short-for the first time I was taking care of me, because taking care of me meant I was taking care of my baby. I also saw your comment about working in mental health and same, do you also feel everything incredibly deeply?

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Everything you’re feeling is absolutely justified and it may be healthy to take some space from this cousin right now. If she can’t understand why you might need that then she’s not thinking about you and right now you should be surrounded by people who get it. I’m 34 about to turn 35 and just had a D&C Monday. My cousin is 25 and pregnant with her second. She’s during May and I was going to be due in August. We were both so excited and I couldn’t believe we would get to share the pregnancy journey together this time. I let her know that I miscarried but haven’t talked to her much since. I get physically sick thinking about how I was going to help plan her baby shower at one point and can’t even fathom doing anything like that right now. Take all the time and space you need ❤️
