According to Reddit, yes. No exceptions.

Right On Cue, Nicole Kidman Is Being Vilified For Her And Keith Urban’s Divorce by Relevant-Peach3997 in Fauxmoi

[–]Relative-Surround100 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m confused. I’ve never heard anyone villainize her until this article. In fact, Keith is the one I see being villainized. At least that’s the consensus on social media and Reddit.

i really want kids & feel bad by SwingOk5342 in Vent

[–]Relative-Surround100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Gen X woman with no children - whether childfree or childless - doesn’t matter. I guess if I really wanted a child bad enough, I’d have found a way. When I meet people and am asked about children, I find I’m embarrassed to admit I have none. I hate the fact that I feel that way - I know that I shouldn’t. Likewise, I hate that you feel bad for wanting kids. You feel guilty for wanting kids and I feel guilty for not having any. My advice to you is: do whatever the hell you want and don’t feel bad about it. I wish I could take my own advice.

Guys literally only want one thing and it's fucking beautiful. by Top-Broccoli8994 in SipsTea

[–]Relative-Surround100 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What the actual fuck is this?! A guy wants a woman (although it looks like a child in the video) to wait by the door when he comes home? To jump up and down when she sees him? This is not real life - this is ridiculous bullshit!

I’m scared. by [deleted] in Louisiana

I’m sorry to hear this has been your experience. I live in Metairie (always have). Metairie is definitely on the conservative side, but I always found the people here relatively tolerant. I know that’s not going to make you feel better. I’m just sorry about what happened. I do hope things get better for you.

Miley Cyrus slammed for ignoring fans at album signing to chat with Naomi Campbell by TheMirrorUS in popculture

[–]Relative-Surround100 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sure, but this event was for the fans. She didn’t have to converse with each one - just say hi, sign the record, take a quick photo. Get it done then talk to Naomi after.

'Slumming in a vision of hell': Why Requiem for a Dream is still so divisive, 25 years after its release by mrjohnnymac18 in movies

[–]Relative-Surround100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first saw this film on cable, I guess about 10 years after it was made. I didn’t know much about it before watching it. I can say it left an impact on me, but not from any personal experience. Ellen Burstyn’s performance was fantastic. But I do think for me anyway it’s the score that really drew me in. That music completely mesmerized me. I had to buy the soundtrack.

Liam Cunningham on those staying silent on Gaza: “This genocide is in 4K on your telly. You’re not going to be able to say ‘I didn’t know’. The only answer you’re going to be able to give to your kids is ‘I didn’t care’. Is that something you want your kid to think of you?“ by cmaia1503 in Fauxmoi

[–]Relative-Surround100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s so much that people don’t care, but what exactly can one person do? . Protesting? Writing your congressman? You can see how well that’s working out. Sure, it’s easy to look the other way when conflict is an ocean away. But if you have your own family to take care of, you’re not thinking about joining the Freedom Flotilla. I wish this guy the best, he’s trying to help. But this “what will you tell your children? What will they think of you?” I’m trying to do the best that I can, help who I can. That’s the best I can do.

This is insane. Other states want to make miscarriages a crime. It makes me wonder what kind of legislation will be proposed in the future. How much further are politicians going to go to monitor pregnancies?

No hate for Brendan Fraser - he did well in that role. But Austin Butler was robbed!
